Triton and I were actually talking about Eagle the other night and IF water got in it. IF there were several feet getting in it, it might just restock the lake. Might just be a blessing in the long run
Might stock it with Asian carp also.
got a point there. The first time I saw one was at Chotard, Sucker was 3 feet long and jumped bout 5 feet out of the water

I got a feeling this year will make the '73 flood in the delta look very tiny. Yazoo's rising a foot daily and will be outta it's banks in a couple days. I'll probably have jumping carp in my pond before this is over.
They are saying it will be the worst since the middle 40's.
I was on State Emergency Duty during the '73 flood and the first time I flew over to Vicksburg and up the Delta I thought I was flying over the Gulf of Mexico. Can't imagine it being worse but looks like it will be.Quote:
