Missouri camp

Well, I'm down here in Missouri. Had a fun drive here from Grenada. We had to take a 2.5 hour detour around flooded roads. Fished Truman yesterday. Caught some nice fish. My buddy tom caught a good one.

I caught crappie too but here's a 16 inch striper.

And as usual, everyone here are great people. Meeting more people than I'll remember names of! Lol

Slab becareful at Truman! The fun starts when you tie 2 jigs on! Get a white bass on the top jig and get a nice 12 inch crappie on the bottom jig. I have done it more than once down at Truman.

Congrats on a successful border raid! I was wondering about your trip from MS with all the storms going through! Welcome to MO. Sorry I won't make it to camp this year. Woulda been nice to meet you and Tom. I'm sure the Truman gang will take good care of y'all.

Ed It was my pleasure to meet you. I don't think Tom was there when we stopped by. Like you said to many faces to remember all. I am sure you remember John and I with the greeting we got when we got out of the red suburban. I would hate to see what is said if they really don't like someone, or for that matter get to know a feller!!!!!!!!! Had fun, glad to meet and visit with all you guys! Mark

And I say, I can't believe I ate the whole thing. The food was great, I shouldn't have had that second helping. Buckwheat is a master fryer.

Crappie camp was great as always. Jigging15 does a great job. Best 4 days of the year. The fishing was great and the food just as good.
Chris and I were thinking on the way home today that we didn't take a single picture. Bummer

I took several Sam but my dam pc out in the shop where I down load them is locked up and can't get them transfered to the house pc to post will try again tomorrow ......... oh wait, I got one of you and that could be messing up the whole works........

Hey Slab, it was great you and Tom come down to see us all ! Lots of names and faces to remember but you two are a couple of faces I'll never forget :D
It was kinda nice to know a little history of how this site came about. A LOT of great people and friends I would have never met with out it.

Slab, thanx for coming to Mo camp and glad you had a good time. Thanx for bringing Jack B Tom Tom so he wont be lonely. Thanx for bringing the USS BillyBob up from 'sippi to see how the other half does it and thanx for letting us talk about crappie fishin. Ya come back now, ya hear.

Jamie you pretty well summed it up. Would be glad to have Ed and Tom at all our camps. It was once again a great time. Lots of new members to put faces to names with and always great to see members we have not seen for a while. Can't wait till fall camp so may have to get a summer camp on Truman going when the dipping bite is in full swing.
