Me and my family are proud to have made it through the storms without any loss of life. I know Tracy and his did as well, but have not heard from anyone else. I know it was pretty bad everywhere around, but we all sure need to pray for all the folks around who wasn't so lucky. I know there will be a very high death toll for Alabama as they are still trying to get to folks areas torn up so badly.

Me and my family made it through and didn't have any damage. Only a few broke limbs in the yard. My parents live in Athens Ala. and there ok. All the tornados went south of them. Thankful we made it without any damage and a prayer sent to those less fortunate.
Ok here in Manchester Just some nice storms.
We are okay here in Tullahoma, but while I was in Winchester checking on my daughter we got caught in a hail storm and my truck has a whole lot of dents in it now. Hope State Farm comes through for me, I pay them enough money every year so they better.

ok here i'm thankful and glad to hear that most or all are my friends and family are ok. my prayers go to those that were not so lucky.
Things are OK in Estill, just a lot of rain and wind. God help those who weren't so lucky. went to woods this afternoon. Mud line is at the franklin co. ramp water timp is in the high 60s. Had seven keepers.
Good here in Madisonville, had a heck of a light show and lots and lots of rain/wind. Was picking up a little bit of trash in the yard today, and the wife found some scrap paper, but looked at it and it had the name/addess of some people from Henegar AL and Rainsville AL. Also found some house insulation along with the scrap paper, so I assume these people did not have good luck with the storm in any form or fashion. Now I don't know for sure the insulation came from AL as did not hear of any homes being torn up here like they were in AL. I'm guessing we are a good 100 miles from these NE AL towns. Hope all goes as well as it can for the folks in AL.
My heart goes out to the victims and the families of those victims all over the South east. Got lucky here only had 3 trees down in yard and 2 of those were about 4 feet diameter pen oaks. One of them landed right in my pond so the fish will have cover cause I have no idea what would pull it out to cut it up.I dont have a rain gauge but water was all the way up to front porch before the second round came through and dropped about 3 more inches.
I know exactly where Henager and Rainsville Al are, and yes, you are I would say at least 100 miles or more from there to Henager.Rainsville might be closer to 140 or so miles away. I had a friend tell me in Fayetteville today that he had something with a Birmingham name on it land in his yard from the storm.From his house, its about 135 miles to Birmingham, as that would be about same distance from you to Henagar. Wicked storms that came through. Cant say enough how lucky we are they didnt do a number on us as they came by.
yeah, no damage to our house, etc., a neighbor lost a birch tree but did not fall on the house but easily could have. Very grateful it was no worse than it was.
I'm glad to hear everyone came out OK with all the violence that went around this past week. There were many nervous moments, with me not being even close to home. My home and family were definitely watched over.
Several of my fellow drivers weren't so lucky. Exit 29 on I-81 in Virginia was another of the many places that the storms left fatalities behind. The tornado went through the Petro truck stop that was pretty full with around 70 trucks parked, and threw things around like toys, blew out all the glass and destroyed the entire neighborhood. I don't know the accurate death toll, but I heard it was around 20 with several drivers among them. The containers that you see along the right shoulder were on the far side of the truck stop, and some of them hit houses further than I could take a pic of while driving by. The last pic is of the Petro after several days of cleaning up.
I am so thankful of all the blessings that we have had this past week. We were all so close. God have mercy on those we lost and their families.
