It's gonna keep coming up too!
Yeah man... Prob won't even slow down til it gets over 235..
The Canal on Hwy 305 was up to the bridge this morning. Water is over Hwy 305 just before you get to the canal heading north. A lot of water yet to come thru. All of the area from Hwy 310 on the south, Hwy 7 on the east and around Holly Springs to the north has to drain into Butla.
what is a good stage and area for Butla for single poling?
They can't let the water out due to MS River flooding.
Spunds like BIG trouble!
Now we know why they drain it so much!! People living in the delta are glad they drain them.
I guess that's why they call them flood control lakes.
I seen 7 yesterday and thought it was 7 tenths, but it was 7 FOOT, dang that is a bunch of water since Butla is bigger than all the other lakes down there, right?
I'm pretty sure Arkabutla is the smallest one of them.... Should be Arkabutla, Enid, Sardis, and then Grenada.
She full and gonna get fuller.

its 5 feet high and rising!
Now it's 10 feet high and still rising.
It's not any good at 230'.I like anything between 215 and 220.Just my opinion.

That's some pretty decent reporting Blue. Now where's the fish?
Dang ES even I know that much... They's in the water!
Like MO said they is in the water!!!
I wasn't fishing just looking and getting some pics for y'all that report will be in Saturday afternoon.
Ant scared just know this fish aren't going to bit to day but want to be ready for when they do start back up.
Cleaned the carbs Monday and wanted to go try it out was the only reason I was on the water to day thought while I was out I would give a look see at a few places I did good at a few years back when the water was up like this.
don't know about ya'll , but all my waypoints got 20' fow on them
great pics man just remember wadders dont leave home without em
Considering current conditions would it be better to Row vs Wade???
If we're going to have to wade Butla in a few weeks, somebody send Yikess an email telling him to write himself a note to remind Speck to bring his floaties when he comes down. I seen him wade on Grenada last FJ and it was the oddest site to see a fella fishing a jig pole with a snorkel. Kind of scary too....what if he'd sucked a bug down that tube?
Wannabe...
ES I didn't say I never put a hook in the water I don't consider 5-10 min of a jig in the water fishing but if that's fishing then I was fishing.
All looking good anyway.
Don't plain on fishing the spillway!!!
