Mississippi River stage at Arkansa City is set to crest at 47.5 on 5 12. Thats 10.5 feet above flood stage. I think they will revise it tomorrow and will most likely top out at 50 ft. It will be a while before they can let any water out of the lakes.

All this water is sure making the water look like chocolate milk, but I guess the fish are still biting.
They still got arkabutla at 1000 CFS and none of the others are above 100. Think I might call them and let them know.
Its not great if you have property behind the leveee. This could set a new record and the levee system is over 80 years old.
They are dumping 2200-6500 cfs out of Greers right now and it still rose over 6" since midnight.
And it looks like there's lots more rain on the way.
I don't understand what you mean "behind" the levee. They are designed to keep the water of the Delta folks especially during the Spring rains and that sounds like what they are trying to do. What am I missing?Quote:
