asfor the jig head color you got there crazy angler makes a color caled gold shiner that looks just like the color you got there crappiehappy
the gold shiner can be double diped you can heat up the head and dip it in robins egg blue n then straight into the golden shiner while its still hot and get an awsome color combo just try foolin around with the transparent powder paints with diferent base coats and you can get some realy great head colors that triger a lot of great strikes
i ben foolin around with this techniqe for some time now and have a few colors that im realy fond of and use a lot .
Thanks, yeah its gold hiner from CAT. I have caught catfish on my crappie jigs as well. Ill try the robins egg as base.
Your jig looks good.
I catch catfish many of times pulling jigs and also while pulling crankbaits. They will hit anything LOL..
