Weather man says more today down here and maybe tomorrow. Supposed to be nice weekend and start again Monday. Rain or wind we can't buy a break. Hope it gets better up there and no more bad storms.
We don't need it for sure. It'll make it longer before the lakes clear up a little, but it can't make it much worse as far as conditions go lakes are way up muddy and full of Debris.
fingers AND toes crossed maybe even eyes
I think I know why bad weather, Whiskers is on a boat and he wants the crappie to wait until he returns.:D
Just kidding. See you when you return Whiskers.

I tell ya what guys, between the rain, cold fronts, and high winds, this has been the toughest year of guiding I have ever had. I can't take many more springs like this one.
Lake is scheduled to rise to 359.84 by sunday. ! 1/2 to 2 foot rise in 3 days...WOW!
Looks as tho now they changed their minds. Dropping the lake fast. 170,000 cfs is alot of water.....Glad I live on a hill. Maybe I should build an ark?
Too late BBD, I've already changed my name to NOAH and the building has started. I have to hurry though as it's already been raining 20 days and nights, at least it seems like it. More to come all week YIPEEEEE!! The fish in my pond are swimming in the back yard now.
We just had a frog strangler here in eastern ky. Cave Run Lake was already 23 feet above summer pool, I think the recode is 27'. We are likely gonna hit that mark this week. The other smaller lakes are up 5-10 feet still from the last few weeks rain.
Here are a couple good links for those that do not know about them.

The females I've been catchin were in 14 ft of water and their eggs don't look ready yet. I hope they hold their eggs until the Water levels stabilize.
It seems kinda strange for me to be catching females in 14 ft of 65 degree water.
I think they want to go shallow but the cold fronts keep runnin them out into deeper water.
I've been catching very few fish in shallower than 9 ft.

I'm not going to sware to it but I think I saw a whole school of crappie with a sign that said las vegas or bust.
This rain is crazy.
Spoke with a few crappie today and they informed me that the spawn been posponed this year till August 3rd.......its gonna be that long before this weather straightens out an the lakes get back to normal. Just thought I`d let you guys know! Rain Rain GO AWAY !!
