Apology to the board

I offer an apology to the board and jigginpole joe sorry C.D.C. is no place for personal feelings to be worked out or it seems discussed . I spent 8 years creeping around under the ocean on submarines and another 30 years on the worlds oceans punching holes in the ground on drilling rigs.The whole time I thought about fishing and when I got home that is what I did in the 80 'S I decided I would jig fish for crappie a lot of fishermen helped me learn how and I am still learning today those fishmen took time to pass their knowledge on and I have tried to do the same. All those older fellows are gone on and I am an older fellow who fishes with a dog because no one else can put up with me.I am not limited to restricted fishing time or places I do not worry that I want get my share of the crappie I allready have and will continue as long as the good Lord allows. Sharing is the right thing to do and I hope I am able for a long time to come.

Noslab, I have no hard feelings. I can take criticism with the best. I offered a general recommendation and was met with hateful resistance. This started before this post, started with a friendly pm and come to this.
You all think I am greedy? I am the most giving person you have ever talked to.
I am that guy that fixed your boat motor on the ramp, I'm that guy that pulled you out of that mud hole, I am that guy that cooks for people every chance I get, and reply with you don't owe me a thing.
But if I posted pics of them big ole crappies and exactly where I got em' it would be crowded about right now.

P.S. Noslab. Thank you for your service. Subs are tough! I would fish with you anytime! My business partner, Lord Bless His Soul fished with his dog on Erling for years. I miss the dog and my business partner!

I would like to let C.D.C know that the intention of my original post was not to cause such a stir. I was just very offended by a PM i received concerning a post i made. I didn't put that board members name in the post, but it was revealed anyway. that i regret! If i dont have something positive to say i will keep it to myself. My apologies!

Fetmo, YOU ARE WHAT THIS BOARD IS TRULY ALL ABOUT! Freedom to give or not give specific information remains our individual right. At least for now. As I have stated in the past, I am personally thankful to anyone who freely gives information meant to be helpful to a fellow man. That is what a TRUE sportsman does. There are those who have forgotten what that is and what it means, however, he reserves the right to keep his information but if he/she continues to be derogatory in nature all any of us have to do is ignore the post he/she gives and not even comment on it.

The bad thing about printed dialogue is that the reader has to "ASSUME" the tone. You know what this always does.

RCC. Veru true! Remember though that what was printed in this case was meant to bring about negative connotations. This was a case of just such a situation. We can all joke and if something is taken wrong it is so easy to say "I am sorry, I did not mean it in a negative way". The instigator meant to carry on the subject in a negative light and it brought out some anger. He could have corrected that and chose not to. This board is for good people helping good people and that is the way it should be kept!

By the way RCC, NO OFFENSE TAKEN! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Man, did I ever want to put in my two cents on this whole topic ! But I am glad I did not , It was awsome to see what I feel is Christian men stepping up and doing whats right !!!!! I am glad that everything worked out for everyone so lets just keep crossin eyes and kickin fin !!!!

The only comments I see that was Christian like was noslabs last post.
For the rest of you all love me or hate me I could care less. But keep sharing your info, I will never speak of it again, but you will always be the guy who haves a good time regardless if you catch or not, because you will not have a choice because you ain't catchin. I on the other hand will continue like a very select few round' here to consistently catch good fish. And yes I'm going to post pics with LIMITED info, if you don't like that don't view my post... But we all know you will right? Good fishermen do not need much info if any, but there is very few of them here. Maybe I am not your ideal " sportsman" but I catch fish and share with who I choose and that is my business. With that said It's like the CheeseIt comercial. "GET YOUR OWN BOX"

That is an awfully self centered and selfish attitude but not uncommon anymore unfortunately. You view sharing information as a handout whereas most of the rest of us view it as a hand up, big difference.

Someday I am goint to have to drag my boat down to Oklahoma from Wisconsin and try and catch me one of these monsters. I agree. Listen guys there will be a day we are laid up in a hospital bed or somewhere and wish we could just talk about fishing! You know that!! I joined this site because of alot of the other hunting and fishing forums in arkansas that bash and cut throat one another. This is the best arkansas fishing forum and/or anywhere you will ever find and lets keep it that way. Lets argue over wether the good lord will let us see first light in the morning not this.. Good luck fishing and hope u all can keep ur cooler full................

I agree...makes it way easier to get to the good stuff without wading through all that fishing junk. But....I still say if ya'll had a decent moderator over here this kind of thing wouldn't happen.....Well, it might still happen, but at least with a decent moderator, at least I'd get a PM about it so I wouldn't miss out on it. This board needed a recharge anyway....it was startin to get boring. Lively dialogue is the norm on some boards (MS Hands Clapping) and adds to the entertainment value ;) We need an off topic board to keep things interesting and energized without imposing on the fishing stuff.

I think the MS and MO hands done added enough fuelRofl
