Dont think I've ever seen one.
That thing almost looks like a big off colored goldfish. If i had to make a guess thats what i would say!
It looks similar to a fish down in Texas. I cant' recall the exact name, it is like chicklid or something.
Never seen um befor.
Looks like some sort of sucker. A blue sucker maybe?
Might be the start of another evasive specie like the jumping carp!
If I were you, I'd forward the picture and location of catch to ARGAF. Like Krappie KG said it may be the start of another invasave fish. Heaven knows we don't need any more of those. Take it seriously and send it in.
horse head sucker.....is what they call them in kentucky
I say email the photo to AGFC. I'm sure their biologists can identify the fish and tell us all whether it is a problem fish.
What'd it taste like?
It's a Figger fish.
LOL....what about you creek...that fish come from your old kicking ground...You seen it before?
Chupacabra with gills maybe??? ;)
in 09 in a march fishing trip on the lil Red we caught a crazy lookin lil fish...it was the first time i had ever pulled my line up and said what the heck is that?? come to find out a local trout club had introduced these lil bottom dwellers into the river for the BIG Browns to eat. heck i dont even remember what that fish was called, but it is interesting to see a new species.

Sorry, guys I just saw this. (I'm an AGFC fisheries biologist). I wish I could see the head without the finger in the mouth, but I'm 95% sure it's a striped shiner. It is in full breeding regalia with the color, and the knobs on the head.
Hawgdog, did it look a lot like this?

By the way, this is an extremely common fish in our streams and rivers. I've seen them up to 12" and caught them on light tackle before.
That is wild.. Can't ever say I have seen or caught one of them before!!
