Gets very shallow at 4:45. The lake is usually 3 foot higher than this. If you have a shallow running outboard you should be able to make it at normal pool.
wow, thanks for sharing,
Now that is pretty cool stuff right there, what kind of boat is that?
Very good video as it is. If it was high def it would just be stop and go running on my computer. Thanks for posting.
Thanks guys, The boat is a RiverPro 186 LoPro DSC. When its in HD you can see the exposed mudflats, which really shows you where the channel is. The channel is very narrow. When the lake is at normal level its hard to stay in the channel and thats why most people cant go up there.
good vid think i will take the yellow brick road off of 54 hiway though
Thanks for the ride, think I still come in from the highway.
Incredible. I felt like I was I was in the boat. Cool ride!
man you have some balls. nice video...cant believe I watched all 12:54 of that! just kept waiting for you to crash from about 5 -8min mark
I use the ramp on the Verdigris most of the time, but its nice to know I can get to the Walnut Creek or Manns Cove without having to put the boat on the trailer.
Chad, I am known to crash everyonce in a while. Its all fun untill I have to use the winch to get it back to the water.
Man the wind blew my hat off and I could hardly see through the tears in my eyes..... cool video...how fast were you going??
nice video....amazing what that boat will do. Was kinda neat to watch you go by all that stuff at that speed without hitting anything!
Bridge sure looks different without the brush...lots of people fished it when the log jam was there.
thanks for sharing!!!
http://youtu.be/oLQ5fwIxU-w shorter version, skinny water. Slabby...35mph on the lake, 25 through the shallows (maybe 6 inches deep), and around 50mph around the horseshoe after the shallows.
Very cool, please tell me that is a jet drive boat.
Whoa to the nay-sayer's! That's an excellent job there. You could charge some guide fee's for that ride! Now I know how you got your name. But you forgot to film your honey-holes. Pretty freakin' cool!!!!
Bugman, its an inboard jet boat. 200hp, 6 degree V, built in Hillsboro, Missouri. RiverPro Boats... They have a website.
And then when that gets old you just jump in your sprint car huh. Man nothing dull about your life. Sprint car 360 or 410?
Terry, The sprint car is a 360. There isnt any 410 racing in the area, and the team I drive for couldnt afford a 410 anyway. Good 410 engines are costing $45,000 to $50,000 now days with a $10,000 freshen every 10 races. Fish Friday, Race Saturday, and Fish Sunday. Life is good.
