The water is still a little cool for swimming.
Caught a good mess on Saturday on the Sugarloaf area. Fishing was slow but managed 17 good ones to carry home. Water temp was 55 at 8am and 59 at 3pm. Fish were off the banks a bit, staging. Caught them in about 15 feet of water about 6 feet deep.
9 Saturday morning 10 Sunday afternoon late.
Crankbaits,minnows, jigs?
I caught mine trolling jigs.

Glad to report that it is still wet, and it aint dried up. And when the wind blows the lake gets real rough. Other than that the fishing still seems to be about the same as it was.Quote:

Some Friends of mine just got back from choctaw area an they caught 135 in 3 days. Not sure what they were using but was fishing about 3 feet deep.
I was over at Choctaw Saturday morning and couldn't get a bite in any of the usual spots. However, when the wind started to get a little frustrating I made my way back to the launch at Sugarloaf and found some in 30FOW. They were staged up about 15ft down and I began catching them on Bandits and Flick'r Shads. The wind blew me off the water real quick though and I headed to the launch.
