It was funny Friday afternoon. Nessa and I were in the back of Redgrass in the creek and this older man was over there on the bank fishing a stakebed when we got to talking to him. Real nice fella and was telling us about the fish back in there when all of the sudden he started talking about last weeks C.M. tourney. He asked if we heard about the team that was in line for 3rd place and then the game warden checked one of the teams members license. I couldn't let him get no further than that when I busted out laughing. Yeh, I know that Gewb, That was Chris Savage. The fellas eyes got big around as saucers with me knowing that fact. LOL LOL Seems this fella fishes with WB's brother alot. He actually said a few minutes later that it sucked me knowing the ending to his story AHHH HAHAHA
I bumped into a couple of folks up there that told me the same story.
3rd seems to be my lucky number so far! But, I'll take 'em all year long. You wouldn't believe the checklist my partner had to go through this week before we hit the water! LOL..........

OK, so we're messin with the boat outside the Knights Inn in Granada Saturday and got to talkin to the guys next to us. The guy doin most of the talkin (not me) was from MO., and has a radio sportmans huntin/fishin show of sorts out of Marshall, MO..... He was the guy on stage at the Classic doin the emcee work for the tourney. He starts tell us about a feller what finished third, but had the wrong lic., etc, and I had to stop him...well, yawl know the rest of the story. Lot of entertainment value right there.
Once again, WB......true legend across the fruited plains.
