I was wondering what your favorite brand is for 1 inch twister tails, because I need to get some soon. I like the Mister Twister 2 inchers, but I've never tried their 1 inch or any Exude

I love mister twister 1 inch grubs! There was no body else that made them when I started fishing them. We had one of the factories not far from where I live. Pearl, clear glitter, yellow and purple are my favs. A little secret for here in the south, I put them on ice fishin' jigs. Of course we have no ice in Louisiana except in our tea. :) I use an ultra light and cast an ice jig with a twister into a bream bed and it is deadly!
Bass Pro Shop is one of the few places we can find them in our area. White curly tail on a pink 1/16th head fished under a slip bobber is murder on gills and redears.
haha! i live near all the good airgun and fishing store in ohio!
i live 15 minutes away from land big fish and i live 30 minutes away from pyramyd air.
land big fish has some twisters. but, i have never caught a fish on a grub, even though a i have a couple of crappie and bass grubs, and those quacks on the internet alk about using all kinds of expensive stuff, so im down.
Miss your meds there, jonny??
We used some cheap grubs from Wally World in a no-name kit. The black, white and pearltruse were the colors of choice, and worked best for us on a plain #8 hook with a small split shot 8-10" up the line.
i dont get it?
still lost..
i have the 1" ones from mister twister in pink, white, and yeller.i've caught fish off pink ones in the past.i don't think i've tryed the white ones yet.like 2 weeks ago i caught some bluegills and a 3" bass off a yeller one :D i had it rigged on a 1/64 jighead under a float.can't wait to throw em again sometime soon :)
I do not usually catch gills on twister tail grubs, but I do make a good 2 inch grub for crappie fishing. It is a southern pro style 2 inch grub and it is a good crappie fishing grub. I use to have a 1 inch but did not have much success with it so I sold the mold. My favorite for gills is plain old redworms, crickets or a keystone minnow. The only down side is the keystone is so good and popular now that they have went up to almost a dollar and a half for one bait.
