Had a great time Sunday and IF we'd have caught all the fish that hit, we'd have had 10-12 more. Light and quick bites on alot of fish but then some would try and take the pole out of the pole holder. It won't be long now before they start dropping. Water temp was 65 at 8 AM when we got there and 72 at 2 PM on the South end of Barnett

Felt good to be on my home lake finally. This was my first trip to Barnett in 3 weeks thanks to tourneys and man it was slick as glass until the bass tourney guys decided to make their move. They'd zig zag through us without letting up. They about sunk one guy that had his kid with him in a 12 foot john boat

Duck, it's getting right on Barnett and the good thing is that with the spillway and folks wearing them out down there, it's less boats on the main lake.
dd, its getting where you can hardly afford the gas for long fishing trips..........with my charger boat, it costs me 100 bucks a trip to sardis, just for gas in the truck and boat.Quote:
