With the warmer weather in the 70's the snakes should be coming out in the hunderds.Climbing trees,hanging in the brush just waiting to scare:eek: you to death lol.Skeeters,knats,snakes,chiggers,ticks and stinging bees feeding on fisherman is why its a good Ideal to carry a first aid kit.

I got nailed by a red wasp Thursday twice, 1st on the hand driving to the lake, and then on the inside of my arm when it fell in between the window seal on my truck door.

I saw my first snake Friday up the White river 1 mile above sequoya.
Almost had ol' Wally fall in the boat with us on Friday night. You ain't kiddin' about the snakes! I almost saw my Father-in-Law run across the water back to the house. If we see another snake that size he might be the first person to do it since Peter. :eek:
So bad on Bull Shoals last year I heard two mosquito's argueing over who was gonna get the drumsticks. I fired up the Evilrude and headed out.

With all this high water on my MS river oxbows I fished other water Saturday. Crappieking101 and I fished all weekend and only drove 530 miles.Gotta love them Crappie.

Is it really true a snake will not bite you under water.Iv never tried it but iv always heard that.
Other water crappie not bad may taste a little mossy.
Almost stepped on one monday and he made me do the jerk,the monkey,the swim and a little bit of the hippie hippie shack.
Yes they can bite under water,,,,how do you think they catch fish under water,twenty say they gotta open mouth.
Big or little snakes do not like em never been bit all they have to do is get close heart stops for a few seconds some day it may not crank back up.

Walked up on a four foot cottonmouth a few days ago by the Yocona River. That sucker looked MEAN and coiled up further when I saw him, he was going to stand his ground for sure. Some other guys fishing there clubbed him with a stick, the only good snake, especially poisonous ones, are dead ones.

That myth is absolutely false.. Them little boogers will bite you underwater!!!! I have been bit twice while they were under the surface.. Once on the foot when i stepped on one swimming on the bottom and the other on the side of the calf!!!Quote:
