I have looked and looked, needless to say I too am waiting to see the best or less than msrp. Every where I have looked they are all listed at retail price.
So I hope someone does pony up with the info.

Gander Mtn is where I got my Minn Kota V2 if you can find a price cheaper take they the ad and they will match it. you might ask but I think they will match up to 90 days out

I bought a refurb from cabelas over a year ago, no probs, and I would not hesitate buying a refurb again.
Obviously not from the MinnKota Factory Outlet Store. See the post down below this in the forum. I don't think they have anything to do with MinnKota looking at their site. I've bought a number of MinnKotas from Reed's Sporting Goods in Minn. and have been very satisfied with them.
They don't make this as a package deal. You will have to get a 60" shaft or 48" if you want the I-pilot bundled with the purchase. I went with the 60" and still undecided if I'm going to shorten it to 54". I'm leaning towards leaving it as is.Quote:

I would think so. I think I've heard/read that a authorized service center (dealer) can cut them down with no problems later with the warranty.
I went with the 45", works fine so far. I've not had it out in waves yet to see if it will pop out. Pushin in front by myself, I adjusted the motor to where it was just under good, and I had a good bit of shaft above the collar.
Wherever you buy it, make sure you get a detailed receipt. Minn Kota has a $100 rebate on the Terrova with the built in Ipolit. You have to mail in the UPC from box and your original receipt.
