Warning MinnKota Factory Outlet Store

I just bought a MinnKota Power drive V2 55 PD/US2 with I-pilot from the Minn Kota Factory Outlet store. I did not get what I ordered and I have failed in all my attempts to get them to resolve the problem. No US2 in the motor when I got it.
I have tried everything to get to talk to their customer service but have failed to get anyone to tell me anything.

Do not buy from the Factory Outlet Store.

I have put Minn Kota on my list of never buy again.
Side note I have several of their products but never again this has left really bad taste in my mouth.

That is an independant store. MK has nothing to do with them.

MK let them put their name on store. Minn Kota is the loser in this case (in my opinion) because it is their product miss represented with their name on the Store Front.
Not anything I can do about it expect what I have done but people should know if they intended to purchase there they need to be very careful.
I could have protested the charge on my credit card and did discuss it with my card company but opted not to.
MK might want to have something to do with them.

I would let Minn Kota know about it maybe they can help you. If they cant do anything cancel the charge. I wouldnt wait too long though. In fact I would cancel the card first then make the phone calls.

I will just mount a transducer and move on wiser on where and what to buy from now on.
If I could get I-pilot in another brand I would send it back but to block the charge I would have to return the motor and could I get another one ???
But hopefully I can alert enough people to cost the FactoryOutLetstore.com a lot of money. I have made numerous phone calls and emails and letter.
Time to move on. Just be warned if you thinking about buying from this company you might not get what you order.

Why would you send it back? Block the charge and when they call you tell them you will send it back when you get the right One or you will keep this one for nothing

Sorry to hear that, I just bought a HB 798 Hd Si along with a lake master card from them. Everything worked out for me. But maybe mine was a just a simple purchase.

Does not work that way. My card comapny told me to send it back and send them the reciept and they would refund my money but that could/would do nothing as long as I had the motor. They tried to get MinnKotafactoryoutletstore.com to call me they would not even return calls from the credit card company. I wish it did work like you said but sorry it does not.

That is not a valid web address. What I found is this: Minn-Kota Trolling Motors, Parts & Accessories at MINNKOTA.FactoryOutletStore.com.

If that's the place then good luck to you... I saw so many red flags on that site from just browsing it for a minute that there is no way I'd give them a penny.

If that is the right place then Minn Kota has nothing to do with you getting hosed on this deal.

That company isn't even an authorized Mk dealer, much less associated with them. They've been discussed here before.

let the buyer beware, send it back regestered mail, call the credit card company get your money back and get what you want and were promised, just do it.

Sure wish I had run across that discussion before this but to late now. Wicrappie that is the place I am talking about.

Minn Kota should do something about them. I sure like my Minn Kota products but likely will never buy again because of this. If it quacks and looks like duck I assume it is.

I do think you guys for the info. I feel some better even if did get messed over by this company.

Yes I believe so. Except it was called Humminbird Factory outlet store. But I could switch back and forth between the two on the same site.

Wow! you guys are real eye openers. I really thought I was buying from Minn Kota themselves. I have bought Garmin GPS from them but did not realize it was same store with different web sites. I am much more informed and wiser now. I will be more careful in future.
Well live and learn. I do love the trolling motor the i-pilot is everything MK says.

Thanks for the thought I will be fine. I will just mount transducer on the trolling motor just not quite as neat but I got motor mounted I want fish with it next week not big deal just irritates me to get took.
The trolling motor and the I-pilot is cats meow. It will hold my 25 foot pontoon over brush pile in 10 mph winds and I have a big cabana that catches lot of wind.

i bought a minn kota edge trolling motor from factory outlet it looked like it had been ran over by a truck when i got. it did not work they won't ever see a penny from me again don't waist your money on them. 600 dollars gone.
