Finally done it!! Ordered that F&F Boat

Ordered a 1660 CC flat bottom with V-Nose equipped with a 2011 Tohatsu 50 hp TLDI 2 stroke on a new F&F custom trailer too. I've only bought one boat in my life and it was a Fisher Marine Marsh Hawk 3V in 1988...and its done gotten tired so I hope this F&F will last me the rest of my life!!Thumbs Up

Ole Doug at F&F was very helpful and very nice and made many suggestions that I hadnt thought of and I'm proud he did. He also promised me it would be done in 4 weeks. So I hope the crappie aint spawned out by the time I get it.:(

I'll post pics when it gets done! Man I'm excited!!!:D

You will like it. The only thing, they don't last like a fisher marine, tracker, or war eagle.

I dealt with doug when I bought my ff boat for duckhunting. It is a well built boat, and you will love it. I really love mine!.ask him if he remembers abraham from greenwood. He is really a nice guy.

Will do...I couldnt find a Tohatsu 50 anywhere...the company is having a hard time keeping up with the demand for these motors. So, asked Doug if he knew of a dealer in his area for Tohatsu and he hooked me up with Jimmy at Lawsons Marine in Maghee, AR and he was very knowledgable on the pros and cons of the 2 stroke vs 4 stroke deal and convinced me the Tohatsu was as bullet proof as they come...said it would also get just as good fuel mileage as the Yamaha 60 4 stroke I was leaning towards. Yep, Im excited and cant wait!!

We have a 20' F&F with a cabin & 130 Honda 4S..Been duck hunting 10 years on the MS & AR Rivers, over rocks and trees in this boat..It has stood the test of time..

The only thing to remember is that it is a Razorback boat so you can't be putting a Black Bear on the side of it.DohRofl

I fish out of an F&F set up strickly for crappie fishing. I'm very pleased with my boat although there are a few things I would have done different.

OM, like I told you we run 2 F&F's in our duck guide service. If my partner and I can't tear one up they are tough. I have an 02 115 tohatsu on the 1860 and a 50 optimax on the 1660. Ask Doug about a heavier trailer, at one time their trailers were the weak link.

Congrats! F&F builds some bullet proof boats. I hope the comment about them not lasting like a tracker was a joke. Just google "Tracker cracked weld". You can spend all day reading the customer complaints and how Tracker boat's customer service sucks. Someday I am gonna have a custom built by F&F or Legend Craft. Good luck!

He told me they had two different ones and I got the heavier built one according to Doug.

I'll certainly sell it to you but cant give it away!!:)

He said it'll be ready in 4 weeks so I expect to have it by the 7-10th of April. I'll definitely post pics when I get it!

BTW, what color ya'll reckon I ought to paint this thing? I'm thinking about going with a light tan or a bone color to keep the surfaces from burning you during the hottest part of the summer. Ya'll got any ideas I ought to be thinking about?

A light color does sound good for the heat of summer. Harder to keep clean, mine has a lot of white and it shows everything
