Thursday Night Crappie Club Weekend Tournaments

The chief and myself will be hosting four weekend tournaments this year plus a two day classic. I will go over the dates and a few of the basic rules and regs, if you want a flyer please just pm me and I will email you one.

Dates:
May 1st Clinton
May 15th Pomona
June 19th Melvern
Sept. 11th Perry

Classic:
Oct. 22/23rd Toronto

Each tournament will be $100 entry fee, $10 of that will go towards big fish. All tournaments will be a 85% pay back.

Club membership is $25 per person, you must be a club member and fish 3 of the 4 regular season tournaments to participate in the classic. You must fish the classic with the team member you qualified with. You are allowed one substitute participant for the regular season. They must be declared a sub before the tournament starts.

You DO NOT have to be a club member to participate in the regular season tournaments.

90% of club membership will be paid back at the classic.

There will be a points champion awarded after the first four tournaments, you must be a club member to recieve award. 5% of the entry money for each regular season tournament will be held back for points champion.

Points break out per tournament will be as follows:

1st=50 pts
2nd=49 pts
3rd=48 pts
4th=47 pts
5th=46 pts
etc...

One bonus point will be awarded for big fish.

Like I said this is just a brief overview of the basic regulations and rules. If you would like to recieve an entry form with the full rules and regs please pm me and I will send you one. Chief and myself will be fishing these tournaments as a team.

We will also be hosting the regular Thursday night crappie club at Hillsdale starting on June 9th every other week thru Aug. 18th. You do not need to be a member to fish these.

Labs it might be hard to get any boats at the clinton tournament with the one at hillsdale paying $1000.00 1st place.
Oh well thats the way it goes maybe you can change the date.

We are moving the Clinton Tournament to July 10th. I am waiting on my printer to get the entry forms done, I will have them out to everyone asap.

woodster we take off from jayhawk around 6 pm. labs is in arkansas now im sure he will get you more info when he gets back like dates and stuff like that

looks like theres another benefit tourney on the same day as your pomona tourney on may 15.

Hut & Woodster, Rob at gone fishing said some people are wanting info on tournaments. As usual Labs is failing to get the info out. I guess I will step in since he is in Ark. playing in the big time. The weekend tournaments will take-off at 7 am and checkin is at 3:30 pm. Pomona May 15th at the State Park Ramp #2. (The one in the same cove as the Marina but out closer to the mouth of that cove.) June 19th Melvern Eisenhower St. Park west ramp. July 10th Clinton St. Park west boat ramp (The one we used at Crappie Busters. Sept. 11th Perry St. Park East Boat Ramp. The one by the fish cleaning station NOT the one in Rock Creek. The classic will be at Toronto on Oct. 22 and 23. I am not familiar with Toronto but Labs says it is the St. Park south ramp. The club membership fee is $25 per person. The entry fee per team is $100 & that includes your big crappie ($10 of each entry goes to that it is not an option and only the biggest crappie is paid) 85% payback on entry fees. Must fish 3 of the 4 reg season tournaments to fish Classic and must be a member to fish classic. Allowed one sub at one tournament per reg. season must fish classic with member you signed up with, you can fish alone but must pay total entry fee. Points are 50 pts. for 1st 49 pts. for 2nd and so on. Their will be an additional point given for big fish at each tournament. The classic is not part of the points championship. Best 3 tournaments will determine the points champions. 5% of entry fees will be held back for points champions. 90% of membership fees will be paid back at the classic & the entry fee is the same for the classic as other tournaments ($100).
