My daughter and I braved the wind and misting rain to wet a hook and spend the day together. It was fun and Ava caught her first fish.

Great picture. Remember they grow up to fast and leave ole dad to quick. Had 2 daughters that it seems like just brought home from the hospital a little while ago. Now they are in their 30's and have kids of their own. Hard on dads!

I'm happy for your experience! I remember my daughters first trip to a local stocked pond. I don't know who had more fun, them catching catfish or me watching them. I wish I could relive that day again. Thanks for sharing!
My wife can't understand why I go fishing in the rain, cold, hot days, and sometimes not catching a fish days. Just look at that smile. We're all that little each time we go out the door fishing!!!!!!

Awesome, nothing more rewarding than teaching the little ones how to fish and watching them grow up.
