my boat sits out all of the time so i get water in my tanks. thought i would try one last year and i really like it. i have not had water problems since installed. well worth the money. when i got mine they didn't have the one with a drain in the bottom. now they do. would get it instead of the solid filter like i have, Sports authority. hope this will help a little. any questions p.m. me
With the amount of ethanol going into todays fuels and the difficulty of finding pure gas, a water seperator is a must. Ethenol is a alcohol based additive, alcohol colllects moisture, so if you do the math you can see where it is so important to have a seperator.
Thanks guys. On my line to motor, do I just cut bulb line and splice inline?
Yes. Make the cut between your tank and the bulb.
Thanks gut shot, I appreciate yall's info and time

Where can you find these water/fuel separators? Automotive parts places, BassPro Shops, or some other place? Thanks for any info from Louisiana. We are kind of behind you guys in Arkansas because we live furhter south. LOL.
Pastor, even your local Wal Mart is likely to carry them in their boating/fishing section. They are stocked here in Athens Al, anyway.
Well, just ordered one online. I have a 1997 yamaha 30hp and have had no probs yet and dont want to. Thanks for the information everyone.
