If dere is an open seat where I can hop in with anyone I am good to go this year most likely....as long as the date is good with the kids sports.

Won't be able to make it,will be camphosting at El Dorado SP but sure does sound like a good plan.

Hard to find a place better than Glen for a get together like this. Great places to stay all around the lake at reasonable prices. People are friendly and we are treated very well. The lake in August is not over run with jet skis and pleasure boaters. Lake is stable and last year even when it came up 5 feet the week before, we still caught a lot of Crappies. Last year there were more people from east of hiway 75 than west.
I know Chatt has looked at a lot of possbilities for the Aug camp but Glen always makes more sense.
If you know of a lake that will give us the local support and has the facilities and lake stability that Glen has and you want to put in the effort to organize the event...let's hear the specifics.

I think you mean the Spring one is the 21st, right Chatt? I think I should be able to make it. Let me look more into it and I will be glad to take charge if one of ya goobers will let me fish with ya. Is this more of a one day deal or are people looking to camp and therefore we need more camping spots???

There's NO CAMPING at Kirwin any more, and the town of Kirwin has limited spots available. Webster would be interesting, why not Cedar Bluff, locals tell me this year was the best in 10yrs for crappie. Glen's gonna be "fun", I know there's lotsa people planning on attending, should be a blow-out of a time. Water should clear up by then.
If this 100*+ stuff doesn't stop, I will be a no-show. I got heat exhaustion last time I was there, and I don't want to repeat the experience.:eek: Other wise, I will be there looking for fun.Hands Clapping
