Can't nobody go fishing tomorrow. I just got a call from Deb and we are joining the gym today and will start working out in the morning. Fun, Fun, Fun.
it is gonna be a blowing and even worse up at Washington. I wanna go BAD up there but the more I think about it, I'm not sure. How hard is Washington to fish with 12 MPH winds out of the SSE? Least on the rez you got the dam and a few spots on the Rankin county side up the lake to get outta it.

The guys that drive up to washington will wish they would have saved their money! If the wind blows like predicted it will be hard to fish!

CHANGE OF PLANS. Winds ALOT lighter on Barnett. only 7-9 MPH after a 5 MPH start versus 8 to start with and 12-15 with 23 MPH gusts on Washington right down the gut of the lake
I might have to put my foot down and go fishing early and then GO work out.
Fish ain't biting at Washington, fished it Wednesday, caught a few dinks. Its not worth wasting your time and money. I aint going back until tournament day. ;) Plan on hitting the REZ early. Duncan got a 100 boat bass tournament, be careful.

Dang man, ANOTHER Green Carp tourney? They had one last Saturday AND Sunday. With 100 boats, there won;t be a safe place on the lake. Who's got a paint ball gun I can borrow for tommorow?

I was checked by mr green jeans today for the first time ever on the rez and Ive been fishing it since I was 4 of 5 years old and Im 27 now. They were very professional and checked everything license, fish, fire extingisher, throwable PFD, beer, etc....
Supper nice guys and I sure was glad to see them, maybe thier pressence this year will increase and the idiots will stay away (wishful thinking anyway).

I checked a couple places early with no luck. Then moved to S curve. Found some fish long lining. They were mainly small but ended up with 4 nice size fish (13 inch or so). Brought back 9 crappie. Temp in S curve was 60-61 degrees and temp on dam/spillway was 57 degrees.
I got checked by Mr. Green Jeans also. Was wondering how he was going to check me since I was trolling 6 poles by myself. He just grabbed on to the side and we kept trolling! ha.. Nice fella. Checked my license, registration, and throwable... Asked me about my fish and I told him but he didn't climb in to count them.

didnt count mine either, just asked. As for Beer juast asked if I had any and I told him there might be one in there from month ago when I had a budd ywith me but I had a 1.5 hour drive back to Louisville so I couldnt drink and fish. We both laughed and he said he was just asking because he was checking for BUI etc... Looked in cooler and sure enough one was in there but no ice in cooler and that thing was so old it was prob. flat. Needless to say the neighbors dog is on cloud 9 tonight LOL
Saturdays catch.. Made a guy on the pier really happy!

You can blame little ole me for them.asking about your fish. When.they.checked me I kinda got on their butts about NOT asking about my fish. Ive been.checked several times n never been asked anout my fish. I.let them know real fast that.ive seen many people catch over the limit n they need to start checking. We had.4 we brought home. Biggest was 15 inches n fat. She went 2.1 lbs and the egg sac had big thick blood veins. It aint far off imo before they start spawning
Ha... I threw back about 4 catfish but since I was giving them to a guy on the pier anyway.. I knew he would like them. Sure beats working out at the gym!!!!! LOL...
I think they checked me first DD. Not sure where they launched but they came from the south then worked there way around to you. He didn't check em.. Just asked me about them.
Just glad they.checkin. with the spawn getting here alot of these spawm only folks tend to.keep as many as they can catch. Seen.it to many times I overheard a guy at the ramp.one day talking about.having.over a 100 between himn his buddy
They only check for fish when they are dealing with folks that know how to fish!

Well DD must have had a guilty look on his face Saturday because he was right next to me when the wardens came up. They checked me first and all they asked for was to look at my flotation devices. They even said they would keep a good distance as they could see we were catching fish. Well next up is DD and they seem to do a full on search of his boat. It was a good thing they didn't check that green cup though!
