I learned that drift socks do not float. Paid a $65.00 stupid tax for not properly securing it on the cleat. Anyone know of a great deal on a pair on 48" with the dump line?

cabelas has these on for half price. Cabela's: Cabela's Advanced Angler Pro Series Drift Socks hope this helps.
I checked out the website. That is a great deal if they are made good and will hold up. I paid more for my Lindy's
SOaB!!! I just bought that same one off ebay USED for more that! Maj the 2XL is really close in size to the 48" I got from BassPro. Haven't used the cabella yet, but Feelay told me they are good
I think you meant to say, "If ES says it's good,,,done."
nope, think Maj had it right the first time. Any gewb that stands me up for a catching trip can't be right...lol
U sait you was gonna single pole???

Guess you were hoping I'd show up to a spider-riggin tourney with only one pole. Low down
Maj., check out the MK pro drift socks.
Thanks randall25x I just ordered a 5x for my collection.
Saw that too cray, thanks, thinking about that one.
I have never trolled crank with my bass boat what size do I need the slowest I can got without one is 2.6
I am gonna order some for this summer gas is going to hi to take the pontoon every time.
A trolling plate would most likely slow you down enough.
Yea I got one but I don't want to use it can't bring my self to drill holes in my foot I just to day put oil in it still the original that was in it new.
I looked at them online too. The sizes are 2XL, 3XL, and so forth. How do you now how many inches they would be?
I would order a few if someone would tell me what size I need. I have a triton 173 sport with a 40hp merc on it slowest I can get it by my gps is 2.6 I thank it might be just under that.
What size do I need to troll cranks ?
Blue I would start with a 18,24, and 44. This would allow you to dial in your speed to the conditions.
Maj - Academy Sports on County Line Road sells drift socks. I am not sure how big they are. I got two of them. I think they are like 12 bucks each.
DoubleG
Thanks Zack, already pulled the trigger on those from Cabela's, they are 1/2 off right now and have 5-star rewiews.
Thanks cray, think I will order a couple.
Good deal.. The ones from academy don't come with line, float, or hook... So those will probably be better...
yikess, or anyone, what size sock do yall think will be good for 20 ft. fiberglass boat?
I don't think you can get away with just one size. I would have several from 18" up to 54." This would allow you to dial in your speed to within .1 mph no matter what direction the wind was coming from. The sale at Cabela's is hard to beat. I like the nylon material they use on theirs because they dry quickly and won't mold in the boat.
I got a silly question, when it says 24'' or 54''does that mean the openining width or the length of the sock?
Not a silly question. I measured my Cabela's 2x and it's almost a perfect triangle at 48".
thx, randall..................ordered 3 sizes yesterday.................cabella's ought to send you a commission check, lol.
