Hey Ronnie, you probably don't remember me but we sat across from each other at CM nat. in Grenada at banquet and talked quiet a bit.Anyhow was wondering when your sizing minnow bucket was coming out.I think this a good idea and should help to get right size bait.Glad to see you on here, know you can bring plenty of knowledge. Ronnie welcome to the site. Looking forward to reading any info you care to share with us. Also I was in the boat with that crazy Richard Williams a year ago Nov.And he was telling me a lot of bad stuff about you LOL Just kidding he was telling me what a great guy and fisherman you were.
Best of luck with this fishing season and hope the winnings keep on finding there way to your boat.

Welcome from ALABAMA!!!
Welcome from Florida. i live on the Harris Chain near Lake Carlton. few years back you won the tournament on Lake Carlton. Met you later and had you sign your book. for those of the members that dont know you have a book out there, i will tell them its a great and educational read. i was at the weigh in a few weeks ago , but did not get a chance to say hello---so HELLO! good luck in your future tournaments.

Man do I miss coming to Florida on the Valentine's Day holiday. Since the dates got pushed back to January I have so much going on with the waterfowl hunting here that it is nearly impossible to break away. Can't wait till I retire! Look out Florida!
Anyway thanks so much for shouting and glad the book may have helped out in catching you a few more fish. Man there are lots of tips etc. that are not in that old book. Maybe I will get to do A Complete Guide for Catching Crappie sometime soon. Any ideas let me know since the book by Tim Huffman has sold thousands and I do not benefit at all other than spreading my info and name to the crappie world. Shout if you make it to any of the tournaments.
Good Fishin!!

Welcome to Crappie.com from Central North Carolina.
Welcome from Michigan...
What a smile I have from reading all the replies!! Thanks to each and every one of those.
It is surely obvious that there have been a few eyes on the old Ranger over the years. Lol.
It is certainly a thrill for me to share my knowledge of the two crappie species. They have been an obsession for me since my very earliest years of chasing them with my late grandfather on the Mississippi River oxbows and Reelfoot Lake.
Since my first crappie tournament win in 1978 I have surely been on a mission throughout the U.S. and learning something every time I hit the water. Hopefully I can help everyone catch a few more crappie by relaying info that I have accumulated over the years. The info that one gains from the "water time " is info that is priceless. This is where I will be speaking from.
I will do my best at getting on here from time to time to answer as many questions as possible from my experiences. Hoping I can learn a few things as well from you guys and gals. If you have shouted at me on here be sure and find me with a hand shake at the next tourney.
Be patient on the returns since I really like fishing much more than I like to type!! LOL
Thanks,
Good Fishin !!!!
