Started seeing 'em around here and the crappie started biting too. Coincidental?!? I think NOT!!;):)
Qwack, I honestly saw one morning after the major snow dump! Told wife I was going to take my coveralls out for the little guy! Had a Cardinal with him.
I saw a couple of them the middle of last week. Their timing wasn't so good.
Like i said months ago some just like to stir the pot......
No pot stirring I really so some Robins, spring is on the way. I dont want to make any one mad. Did I post this in the wrong spot????? any time you start seeing birds on thier way back north the warmer weather is only a couple weeks away. I cant wait im going crazy! I made about 100 pounds of baits this winter. I'm WANT TO FISH!
The woodcock have started showing up in southern missouri the last few days and that is always a sign that spring is near. Think I will go out tonight and start watching for them doing there sky dance just before dark.
Been seeing a few around here,, saw a couple skunks on the highway that had been run over this past weekend down towards Branson,,
Oh almost forgot i heard there may have been a OLD COOT sighting down Barry County way,,, just may be a rumor though:)
I gotta say LOVE IT
Attachment 54852I do not think it is spring until I see many Robins in my yard!
If I saw that many men in my yard wearing tights and a mask I think the old 12 gauge would be a talking.... well that or the ole lady is into some FREAKY stuff I didnt know about :) Hell even then the old 12 gauge would be a talking lol By the way when are you snow birds headed back down here?
Had 6 robins getting a drink at the birdbath(left water running all the time) last week right after the snowstorm.
