Just wondering if you can find bream beds with side imaging? I just ordered the 898cSI and got to thinking I have never heard nobody mention seeing or finding bream beds with them?

Hey maachuu, after I spoke with you last night I went and ordered me an 898c SI....I just couldn't help myself!
I don't have pics handy but I can tell you that it is definately possible to find bream beds with SI...
I set the SI image to left side only...45ft SI range....and troll left-to-right parallel with the bank about 30 yards from the bank....
When I see bream beds, I stop and ease the anchor over....
BREAM ON!!!
I'll do you one better. How about Beds with BREAM on them :). See the fish on the beds?

that, like using live decoys, should be against the law. amazing.
That is awesome! I cant wait to get it mounted and start looking! As for as bream beds....Guntersville here I come!
Wilbur, Thats not my image. I got it from Doug and I think Doug got it from someone else??
But SI is very easy to setup. 455khz, I keep my beam width around 100 to 125 for most of my usages. SI enhance Sharpness LOW and the rest I believe I have at default. Sensitivity is based off of depth. Deeper you go and the farther out your beams the more sensitivity needed. The shallower and the narrower your beams the less sensitivity needed. Hope this helps.
Mike
Thanks T MIKE
I was in the boat when we captured this image on Lake Fork and it was prior to the release of SI Enhance. It was in 455 kHz, Sensitivity in the 8-12 range.
here's one from my neck of the woods....... north al.
Awesome pics! I've had a 798 for about a year and learn something new constantly. Just like today!
My di comes in way more handy when I've gone over something that might be a tree top or brush pile. That's usually when I look at my di for a better understanding of what my si and 2d are showin me. Imagers are awesome to say the least
that bed's about 80'wide enormous! just showed came up on the l side of the boat on that pic.
