I eased around looking with the HBird and here's a couple interesting things
Looks like a sunken boat.
Yeh, that's what I was thinking. That over where we were fishing Maj. Look at the pi that I took when I was in 10 FOW, is that Bream beds I see? Dang sure looks like it. It's up INSIDE the rocks at the Yacht club
That would be kinda deep for bream beds wouldn't it?
I thought so Maj but dang sure looks like Bream beds
Those are bream beds in the yacht forsure. Fished them a couple of times.
That's good to know. How's your wife doing?
Minnerman - Go ahead and tell DD that he needs to speed up in those last two pics.... I know it is coming.... lol
Nice pics DD. Since you posted them for Wannabe to see.. they are too small! haha
DoubleG
Any size on those Bream Brad?
Thanks major she is better. Mostly hand size bream. Haven't found any real big bream on the Rez.
You catch them bream long lining Brad?
I was up inside the Yacht club and was in the process of turning to head back out if you just MUST know what the deal was. Didn't want to hit none of the fancy smancy Sailboats
Not trying to hijack your thread, but looks like a good place to ask....
I think something is wrong with me or my SI... Anyone got suggestion

First off.. How did you take the read outs on the left side of the screen off? Did you cut this picture? I can't see how fast you are going to give it the Minnerman criteek... LOL.
It appears like your screen scrolling speed is too fast. Set your screen scrolling speed to your MPH. If you are going 4 mph then your screen scrolling speed needs to be on 4. Screen scrolling speed can be changed from 1 to 10 mph. It has to be changed constantly if you want the best image quality. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT SETTING!!!!!!!!
It looks pretty dark so you might want to increase the sensitivity. Sensitivity ranges from 0 to 20 with 10 being the normal. You could also turn your sharpness to low. I think this helps to see stuff while on the water.
The dark SI view on the right side is because you are sitting on the right side of the boat and the boat is leaning. My boat does the same exact thing. I try to put everything heavy in the boat on the left side to try and even out the playing field. When I have two people in the boat this is not a problem. If you mainly fish alone, you might want match to the water scum line on your boat with the transducer. Just adjust the transducer to match the scum line and you should not have this problem again.
I will dig up my settings and post them on here in a little while. Here is what is should look like:

Zack, it you'll prop those boats you gots for feets up on the left side of yo boat, it'll balance it out. LOL
HAHAHA... You right about that DD... Esp with my steel toes on...
EZ - These are the settings I was using on the top picture:
I was running 4.5 mph with screen scrolling speed set to 5 so I know these fish have not been elongated due to a fast scroll speed. I had the sensitivity on 7, sharpness on low, and contrast to 10.
A couple pics that are big enough to actually see LOL

Those are some awesome pics, I'm gonna keep tryin until I get that.. I have a Stick Steer boat so I'm in the middle and the boat is balanced. That first pic is very slow at the time of the pic, but I have been tryin to match the boat speed and the screen speed, but will ck the other settings. What I was mostly interested in is why are the right sides so bad. Where are you sayin I should have the ducer mounted? Right now it's on the right side of the boat about 1/2 inch below the bottom of the boat so it will pick up when running fast.
DD & DG are using 997''s and EZ is using a 798. Pictures will not be the same due to size of screen. Right or wrong?
EZ - I thought your boat was leaning to one side which could cause the dark image on the right side. If the boat is not leaning maybe the transducer is not level. I would check to see if it is level.
Crappiholic - Mine is a 898 but yeah I bet it is not showing the side info on EZ's because it is a 798. The side image should be able to be as sharp as the 997 and 898 though. I think the settings need to be changed. Most importantly the screen speed to match your boat speed.

That was probably me you saw leaning, not the boat..... I will check the ducer for level, didn't realize it was that critical. Will check settings in the morrow. Thx
EZ if nothing else bring it to the FJ on Saturday. Maybe one of our local experts can figure it out for you.
