What are some of the lakes you all would like to crappie fish but have never been to? I want to go to Fork or Toledo Bend. some of the southern lakes arte supposed to have some pigs!

Most definitely the Mississippi lakes, I can't believe the hogs that are in some of the pictures from down there. Lady that I work with's husband is from Louisiana and he swears they grow giants down there also, and a bunch of them; I don't ever hear Louisiana mentioned in the crappie circles, but he swears they are there.
Reelfoot, alabama River, Greeson, prob a couple others. It's hard for me to commit driving more then 2 hours when I feel so content with Truman. Gonna be home some day I believe.
Nope louisiana crappie fishing is horrible no pigs at all. Lol Louisiana is probably the most under rated state. I've had a 2.15 and a 2.14 pops caught the magical 3 pounder there also. North Louisiana is the area to focus. A 2 pounder doesn't raise an eye brow.

I'm gonna hit Lake Fork in Texas.Been there before but thats when i was a Green Carp fisherman.We also cuaght some good Crappie while there but never went and targeted them only. Lake washington in Miss. and Arkansas has some good one like Cane Creek.
The big 4 in NW Sippi which I hope to scratch a couple of those of my list this spring. Conway in Arkansaw, Alabama Riverway, Lake Fork and Fall River.
Fall River has pigs in it!!!!!!!!!
I have fished some very good lakes around the country when I fished bass tournaments , but not many for Crappie . The lakes up north are overlooked crappie honey holes . I would like to fish some of the lakes up in Minnesota that the Linder boys fish .
Now you're talkin Tn..... I've caught some absolute pigs out of lakes in NE South Dakota......... often overlooked, but definitely awesome!

The little oxbows off the Mississippi river that only the locals know about but since that aint gonna happen then i'll say the Alabama river or Arkabutla.

You guys and gals just stay out of North Louisiana, Ya hear. LOL He was right in saying that a 2lber doesn't raise an eye around here. We grow em big and lots of them. I've heard reelfoot lake in TN is a crappie mecca.
I hit D'arbonne and i believe it was called grand bayou several years ago but the weather was horrible so you'll surely give me a raincheck won't you?awesome lakes with some dandy fish in em for sure.....i'll be back someday.Quote:
