Gonna Try'um

Well all the rods are restrung & ready to go. Got some new warm fish'n duds for christmas and gotta break these new rods, reels & poles in. Gonna try it tomorrow.

Lake is fairly stable with a little color. Water temp has come up about a degree and a half in the last 2 days & is bump'n 39. May reach 40 by late tomorrow. Wind has shifted to out of the south south west between 5 & 10.

Think I'm gonna start out vertical jig'n in the 16' to 20' range & work my way up. May even spider rig a ledge or 2. Bet I find some fish at 14' by the end of the day. ;)

Good luck and make sure you get pictures.....even if there are no fish involved. I have faith in ya though.;)

Good luck Wiskers, I'm itching to get out myself but my boat is one the side of the house that gets no Sun and the cover is still loaded with snow.

Who cares what the weather is in Nashville? It's 2 hours from the north end of KY Lake!!!!!!

Not too far from the Cumberland River which formed Barkley lake. I dont' live on the north end of KY Lake.

To say the that Nashville is not too far from the Cumberland River is a bit of an understatment. The Cumberland River runs right thru the middle of Nashville.

That warm weather down there will help us next week.

Oh and just so you'll know... The Cumberland River didn't form Barkley lake, Barkley Dam did. You got the right river though.
