Has anybody heard if they are starting to bite yet on millwood
Went to day used minnows fish in river chanel near horseshoe no luck. Talk to two ladys pull up where i was fishing . They have ben fishing for 3 hours and had 1 bite. the river chanel is not muddy they are discharging 2750 cfs there is a slight curent in the river from yarborough landing back up river.
went twice caught 8 kentuckys 0 crappie was limitin out before water came up fished from maguire to 71 and up cossatat water looks good to much current............
I am going to try a few places I know---I was wondering the same thing.--Are they still deep or have they began the spawn. I will let you know when I get back.

went friday and limited out, i will post pics in a little while tonight, we have been busy cleaning them today
the water does have current and the fish where still deep

slabgetter83 and me caught them below horseshoe on the chanel drops using jigs. just pitch them out and let them work tight to cover. we seen a lot of people but was not sure how many was catching fish. from the sounds it was off for most

How were you fishing? Did you catch them on bait or artifcials? Fishing alone ? My woman won't go till the temps close to 70.
I did not get to Lake Millwood as of yet. The cold got us--Last night it was +16 with a wind chill of +4.
Getting a new front steer boat--been wanting one for a long time---I have 3 boats that I will be selling as soon as I can take some photos and post them.
Yarbough is one of the areas that is fished for Crappie--- in the flats---Maybe this weekend I will check it out.
THe lake and up river got a lot of rain the other night, part of little river received over 3 inch in hour, starting Feb 11 they going to start holding the lake till it is up a foot
