I have a new Elite 5 DSI on order and plan to mount it on the trolling motor. It requires a trolling motor bracket for a DSI transducer. Has anyone seen one of these brackets? Are they any different than any other bracket used by Lowrance?

And I think the DSI compared to the 2D sonar would be better also. I think Transducer Shield and Saver is working on a metal version of this.
Attached are pictures of the Elite DSI transducer and the mounting hardware it comes with...basically a skimmer transom setup. The plastic mounting arm which slides into the dovetail on the transducer may not be very strong. The separate trolling motor mount will be essential and appears much more durable.
