OK, G posed the question to me abit ago about the Spring camp. He said the our Bossman Slab was wanting to come down and see us all. POOR FELLA LOL Anyway, does the Grenada FJ tourney on April 23rd sound like a good for all you guys? Sounds good to me. What are yall's thoughts

Will be at Grenada lake.....registrationfor FJ and also weigh in at Grenada Landing. I don't know where the cook out will be held....perhaps Wannabe can fill us in on that.Quote:

Well we are just getting the date set up right now....more planning will come later as we get closer. Basically its like this....the Friday night before the Fruit Jar tourney everybody meets at a resturant and eats etc. then they go back to the campground and tell fish tales and maybe have some adult beverages. The next mourning the tourney starts and everybody enters and fishes. They all come in that afternoon and weigh in and see who the winners are. They its fish cleaning time and they have a big cook out. Lots of fun and fellowship.

Plenty of room for boat parking and fish frys. I've stayed there many time with no problems. The rooms are big and clean. A double room runs about $45.00 a night. If you stay there, tell them you want a room downstairs and in the back.
Oh well, April 23rd is my granddaughter's birthday and we are throwing her a party for her 2nd birthday at 5pm. Just my luck.
