I couldn't agree more. I hear they are FAST!:DAttachment 52484
Oh yeah, did I tell you they are FAST?
Man that went really really well! Looking forward to the game tonight.
WOW, His "new" PC stuff has gone to far lol They are fast :) shouldnt be a good game those tigers are going to whip em! I would say even those War Eagles could smack em back to the north country.Even the Plains Men would give a run for there money. GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!!!
It's the result of my New Year's resolution.......to be a kinder, gentler, more tolerant bwillaub. Is it working?
Report on WJOXFM this morning says, "Les Miles to meet with UM officials in Dallas, Texas tomorrow to discuss the UM head coaching job. I'm sure that is GREAT news to the SEC's "baby tiger" fans.
Yea, I'm glad he could head his butt back north but I'm always scared of the unkown. They better have there pocket books ready! Just got the early out from work. Time to preparty before the game. Its about time for another Tiger in the SEC to have Crystal Balls :)
Maybe Malzahn? That is a rumor we get every time a new head coaching job becomes available so I figured I might as well start it this time. I'm sure you could buy Sabear away from BAMA. He'll go anywhere if the money is right. Good luck with that search.
I've been partying since around 11. No work for me tonight.
WAR EAGLE!!
WOW!! Oregon is capable of 250 different uniform combinations! I sure hope a fashion show doesn't break out in the middle of the football game. We would surely lose that!
Time for me to unscew another cap on a cold one and make my way back to my seat. I have no idea who wins this game. I just hope noone gets seriously injured.
War Eagle, ya'll!!
Got it on and it is kick off time. Bound to be a good one for sure.
Should someone call Bob and tell him the game is on TV right now! Would hate to hear he is passed out on the couch and missing the game!
Starting to look like Cam Newton didn't get his paycheck before the game..... I think the old Bob will be back on 1/10/2011 if this game continues going the way is.
Slow start but starting to get good now.
Yeah, looks like both teams are starting to get into stride. Advantage Oregon. That P.A.T. was sick.
That last Auburn drive was nice!
Guess Bob will be happy now. It sure wasn't convincing though. Good, close game! Can't argue with undefeated. Congrats Bob. They pulled it off.
Just hope one day the BCS BS will cease and go to a playoff system.
Was a great back and forth game. Came down to the last couple of seconds. That's how all games should be.;)
It was a good game. Both teams played hard. Both teams left points on the field. Cam was off on his passing but still threw for 260+ yards and two touchdowns. Missed some wide open receivers for touchdowns. Report just in that he is getting x-rays now for an undisclosed injury. Seems he was hiding it from coaches so he could play. Injury happened midway thru the 2nd quarter. Kinda explains a few things.
WAR EAGLE!
LOL. Quarterbacks at all levels go to the ER after games. It looked like when he got rocked in the second half, he was having a hard time after the hit. I doubt he'd use it as an explanation or excuse. A player worth the Heisman will make it happen, and he did. Don't sell him short man.
Congrats Bob on your team pulling it off great game for sure. I finished watching second half this morning since I had to leave for work last night at halftime. You good see some pain on Cam's face in a few close ups between plays. Ut he is tough and you know there is no way he was not going to stay in the game. Nice close ball game from start till the very end. Exactly what a championship game should be.
Well well well I guess the SEC done lucked into another one lol. It was a great game on both sides of the ball. I will say Oregon Cheerleaders were alot better than Auburns but we all know all the good looking girls go to LSU. :) Poor came Cam couldn't fake a head ache. he might be all world everything but his fake hand offs are horrible. He is a great player and tuff. Auburn is a great team and I'm glad you got your championship but my boys will be back next year.
Cam did a great job. It's a shame the scandal issues had to come up as part of the commentating. Poor old dad couldn't go to the game.
Just heard that DAD was there.......Be hard to keep me away if that was my son.
mduncan62 your telling me that if it were your son you wouldn't be at the game to support him and cheer him on? Whatever his father has done or allegedly done shouldn't matter that he was there or not. If it were my child and he/she were playing the national championship in anything it would take more then the national guard to stop me from watching.
I can tell you 100% sure that I wouldn't have asked for money for my son to attend a college. I'd hope that most everyone would be able to agree that they wouldn't do that. He kind of lost the right to be involved with his son and NCAA sports, and rightfully so.
I'm not an Auburn alumni or fan, but it was announced during the telecast and in the news that Auburn and the NCAA and Mr. Newton "Recommended" and "agreed" that Mr. Newton would not attend, and Auburn did not give him a ticket to the game. That's why I said what I said.
Cam was lucky to have even been eligible at all this season in light of everything that happened. Hopefully when the FBI and NCAA investigations are complete, Cam will retain the Heisman and not become Reggie Bush #2. Cam certainly earned the award. What his father did to him is really a shame.
I agree with you on if his dad did ask for money that ins't right, especially if it could affect his childs future and dreams. But I don't see how his dad coming to the game has anything to do with anything even if the agreed that he wouldn't attend. What is it going to hurt for him to show up and support his son?
The only "black eye" to come of this would be another for Mr Newton and that's his problem. Apparently there was a mutual agreement between AUBURN's athletic dept and Mr Newton that he would not attend the game. Mr Newton decided to not abide by that "gentleman's" agreement. Mr Newton seems to be a man who lacks good judgement, honesty, intergrity, and ethics. Mr Newton has every right as a private citizen of this country to attend the game. If he chooses to lose the respect of the viewing puplic, so be it. I do know that I, as a father, would not have agreed to not be there to begin with. Of course I wouldn't have been talking to anyone about something that would have put my son's future in jeopardy either. Thus far neither AUBURN nor Cam have been accused of any wrongdoing. The investigation will continue for some time. A former teammate of mine works in the AUBURN athletic dept. He assures me that AUBURN did a very thorough investigation on their own before Cam was ever allowed to play. This wonderful season will be forever scarred by this shameful act by one man. No matter the outcome of the NCAA investigation, there will always be a big asterix beside the 2010 BCS National Championship. That, my friends, will be a shame if AUBURN and Cam are found to have done nothing wrong.
I understand your comments, but if cleared, I do not think there should be an "asterisk" or any negative long-term effects on Cam Newton, his team mates, fans & alumni of Auburn, or any other group that helped this be the most successful season for Auburn in your life time!
The issue was a major distraction at times, but should not be a negative factor when reflecting on the GREATEST season ever for the Auburn Football team.
As I stated on the other thread, the team and the fans should enjoy their time as champs, bask in the glow of the lights, and do their best to do it again.
Earlier you stated you always try to be mellow at the beginning of the year, but normally restore your self to the "normal" bwillaub by February.
I don't know you, but watch your posts regularly. You appear to appreciate a good natured sport most of the time...so here goes: "Want to talk Auburn Basketball (Won 7- Lost 9 at this point)?"
GM,
It won't be AUBURN fans who put the asterix on this season. It will be all the "haters" out there who, no matter the outcome of the investigation, will ALWAYS believe AUBURN and Cam to have cheated somehow someway. I have been on cloud9 since Monday night and don't plan on coming down for some time. I DVRed the game so I can watch it as many times as I like.
You have a very keen perception of my personality. I am a real pussy...............cat. Basketball? Do they still play that game at AUBURN?
Come to camp. I'll buy you a cold one.
WAR EAGLE!
