any results from mcc tournament saturday ???
No....still nothing about it on their website.
Is WB runnin that site, TOO
He thinks he runs everything, He does at home!
With all the I phones, Blackberries, and Droids out there it looks like the results could be posted on their site fairly soon after a tourney.
Cut us some slack guys! We run MCC on a volunteer basis. I will give an update on this site as soon as I get one but it will be a day or two before the MCC site is updated.
Here are some results. Thursday night cookout outstanding. Friday morning breakfast at the lodge was great again thanks to Paul and Charles. Friday night tailgate cookout was wonderful, so much to eat. Great weekend even tho I didn't do so well in the tourney.
Tommy I believe that was one of the best cookouts we have ever had. The food was Great!
Are we going to do it again at Washington?
Or maybe Barnett first??
Of Course but we have the Rez to do first. Paul and I have already talked this morning regarding doing a cookout at the pavilion at Tommy's the Friday of the Rez tournament. I suggested we do it a little earlier in the day since not everybody stays close by for this tournament.

Can't wait til the Barnett tourney. It'll be my first to make it on the friday night cooking. Course we have OUR tourney the weekend before the MCC tourney and it'll be a blast, WEATHER DEPENDING lol
There were 37 boats in the tournament. We caught 218 crappie with a total weight of 301.20. Thats a 1.38 average per crappie. The big fish (Won by Nessa) was a 2.45 and second big fish was a 2.22.
Congrats to all
Question: How much did DD have to pay to have the results extended far enough down to get his name in print? Or are you just sweet on Nessa too?
Wannabe...
Don't see any of us "crank pullers" on that list. Maybe that should tell me something.
Well we pay down to 15th place each tournament so DD/Nessa just made it!
majflyboy - We caught 5 fish pulling cranks Saturday and I would say we used two of them. We had hoped to catch a few of those big ones like we caught on Friday. We caught our better fish trolling minnows early.
I caught 8 or 10 very good fish Thu pulling, just didn't work on Pay Day.
Yeah I had heard ya'll were catching them. Thats why I brought my cranks. We caught 3 fish on cranks Friday and all 3 were over 2 pounds so we thought we may catch a kicker fish or two but didn't pan out.
Heck, we caught ALL of our fish before 9:30ish on Minners. Then bout noon when we havn't had a bite in 2 1/2 hours, we tried pulling crank. We had our poles bend back a time or to but pretty sure it was a gar hitting it even though we never caught one. Heck, we didn't catch a single gar the whole day, not even on Minners
We caught fish all day on minners, never had a lull in the action. Had to weed thru the gar to get them crappies tho.
that was Wierd Nathan in that we never even had a gar bite and almost everyone I talked to had caught a bunch of them. How deep was ya'll catchnig your crappie later on. We started out about 10 feet, then caught a few at 14. The big gal hit at 10 feet though and that was after I caught a few at 14
Caught most of ours at about 12, some at 20 plus tho.
We targeted 18 to 20 ft water most of the day. Caught 20+
Nathan did you get the item on Ebay?
We tried down to about 20 or so but just never got a hit down that low. Heck, we had the weight on the bottom and dropped it all the way to the bottom of the lake and reeled it up a couple turns as well. Think we hit every depth there was
I'm going back to Chotard this weekend. River came into Chotard--up 8 feet over Saturday, but leveling out Friday.
Just right conditions at Chotard this week end.
I may or may not carry my crankbaits, but I know they'll bite a minnow on an orange hook.
"May not carry my crankbaits"??????????????????????????????????????? ????????
If you don't have some crankbaits in the boat.......you might come down with the heebie jeebies:D
Don't worry he will have the cranks in the boat. He can't leave home without em.
LOL, Ole Maj and his Cranks. BE honest Maj. Over the last say 5 or 6 weeks. How many times, you pulled cranks? Then how many times have you caught more than say 4 fish. Now there is a time and place for them, that's for sure but it ain't every trip. Time to put them down for abit and grab them spider rigging poles
Last Thu, two days before tourney, I caught em like crazy. You just never know and you sure won't know if you don't let em swim.
He's been mesmerized by the great one. The best crappie fisherman in the south. Don't take it from me, read the articles.
I didn't know they'd written articles about me Morris AHHH HAHAHA Maj, With it warming up abit Saturday, I'd try em at the rez for abit if you was a going man. Warming up some and got a feeling they might be hitting them
The only articles written about you deals with your over sized head. The one on your shoulders.
Don't give him an opening Morris.
I can't hep I gots a water head C'Holic. LOL
