Those look great Mr. Jim....how did you get that sparkle in them?
Looks good, Mr. Jim. Did you start with blank bodies and build your own?
hmmmmm you might try puting a second coat of clear sealer on over the glitter....that should keep it from coming off as easy. They look very good....you did a good job.
Good job Mr. Jim. I like the colors and the glitter.
Looks great Mr. Jim!!! Dern fish dont stand a chance with you around!!!!
Looks good.
I like that glitter you did to them, just picked up some glitter myself, just dont know how Im gonna get it to work. I like the colors for sure. Good Job Mr Jimfish

John those are bp bargin table cranks 1.99 i get the plain white and go from there. I dont troll i just push em so dont have to worry about how deep they dive.I have some that i hand painted, but this ab is faster.I want the glitter to slowly come off if theres a big unaround it drives em nuts.
nice
Good looking Cranks. Im guessing the little glitter coming off would be like scales coming off wounded bait. COOL idea.

I hope DD does not see this thread....he will try to put the glitter on with duct tape
Would that be the Ziggy Stardust Pattern? LOL LOL
All i use is 2 oz. and i rarley fish in water over 15ft down to 3 ft.
I did some pushing this summer and had to use almost 8 oz to keep them back at only a 30 degree angle. then again, I was pushing them at 1.7 MPH. Less speed wold be less weight I would imagine. If you were going say at 0.7 MPH, bet you could get away with only 6 oz. Personally, I was using some Medium heavy rods that I use for Big Stripers
I push and only use 1 oz. weights most of the time....if its windy I use 2 oz I don't push them as fast as I pull them. My lines lay back some, not bad though. I use myB'n"M Pro Trollers to push with......same ones that I pull with.
Thanks fellows, that gives me a starting place, I will be using my BnM trolling rods also.
Put your weight around 30 inches above your crankbait. I just use egg sinkers and loop the line through them 4 times leaving a tag end of line 30 inches and then tie on a swivel.
I use 3oz weights when I push cranks. I use a bank sinker and I have it tied onto a 1 ft leader with a swivel on the end. On my main line I have a loop knot tied 3 ft up the line from my snap where the crankbait goes. I hook the weight to the loop knot. I troll at 1.3 to 1.7 mph and it works well. The reason I use the weight on a short leader and hooked to a loop knot is so I can take the weight off when I put my poles up.
Great info because that was my next question, how far on the weight. Thanks guys!
