Len, those look great. You will have the fish waiting on the ice to leave..
Those with the scud hooks look fantastic! How do you go about painting the beads? Those will be DIRTY on bluegills!
len those look fantastic. Keep up the good work.

Len those are some nice ties. Really cool. Think more would like to know some of the process in tying them. The only other thing is if you would move south we don't have all that really hard water that you have to cut holes in. We fish open water 12 months a year and the crappies are really Really Big.

Like Um, they look great, will do the job !!!
awesome man those will be great for sure..
Looks like powder paint but that is a guess.
In my own igonrance, what is a Bead&pin? I assume it is a rod tied into the hook with a bead on it like we do for some steelhead jigs but have to ask how y'all do it.
I got the information for the bead-n-pin jigs from another site and basically these are the materials that I used..........
6mm non-magnetic jewelry beads
1-1/4" straight pins cut to size
#6 sickle jig hook

Len, my inbox was full, is open now. And I do like them, is almost the same way a friend of mine makes them. I will have to try that here, someting has to work on these stubborn crappie in my area.
Are those brass beads solid, if so about what is the weight of them, and what colors have you tried.
Would you mind saying where you get the beads. thanks
Tacklebox2tn,
These are the beads I use and not sure what they weigh but will find out. I use the FL. Pink and Fl. Chartreuse.
