Yes it is a little harder to store & carry with visor installed, but visor really works great on sunny days, so good, that leaving visor on was a minor problem to me. Also because Rapor visor is attached with Velcro only, it can/& was removed many times with out a reinstall problem using same Velcro. Yes I installed a new screen protector every spring on my HB, with visor off, only problem being sometimes I needed 3 hands to properly line up-install screen protector---I highly recommend both the visor &screen protector(not only did it prevent water spots on screen itself, it also kept me "cool/calm" as people kept placing finger on screen -pointing to Oh! What's that!!! I would just smile & say to myself that screen protector is one heck? of a good thing........;);):D
Note not living on a lake my boat was always trailered 50-100 miles and HB unit always rode in car with me with visor usually on.
Where do you get the screen protectors?
