i have fished all three for years lake pb. has some slabs if you can find them, the other two you catch a bunch but not much size (9-11)inch is about it.
I have fished atkins but its been a few years. Ditto on what meatgetter said atkins has got em but they aren't very big.
I will have to try it, are they deep enough to put a 24 ft. pontoon on, I would think lake pine bluff would but not sure. thanks guys
Lake PB has ramp enough to launch the toon but many a stump, would depend on water level. I would say it would be the best for fishing from that big a boat. They have upgraded all the aminities on the south bank, across from the courthouse. Atkins would handle the size but you may have trouble getting to the structure, could do some trolling, problem there is the ramp, it can be a PITA in a jon. Never fished Noble but I don't think there is much more than slipping off the bank, if that.
if you are going to fish these lakes better get a reg.boat !!!!!! no real ramp on noble.
Went there with a friend that has a smaller boat, tried both Atkins, and Pine bluff lakes not one nibble, but pine bluff lake was only about 5 ft. and Atkins was about 6.5 to 7ft. seemed to be way down or is this the normal depth for these lakes or are they drawn down. Could be that we are way behind on rain too. and they are not as full....wind was blowing hard at both places that day.....
lake pb is drawn down but their is some deeper water than 5ft. you just did not find it, atkins is from like of rain .
their is a atkins lake on hwy 65south wright out of pine bluff its a old oxbow lake.
Lake Atkins near Russellvile, Atkins Lake on Hway 65 south east of Pine Bluff. Hope this clarafies things a bit.
Question about Atkins lake, where do you go to fish from the bank? I found the lake but never found a bank that wasn't in someone's back yard with a no trespassing sign. Is there another way to get to it without going down Atkins lake road that had no access that I seen, or overlooked.?
I Know how you feel, not being able to get to a body of water with houses built right up to the waters edge.and every house that surrounds that body of water keeps there property posted to stay off. When all you want to do is fish there from the bank, cause you have no boat. when I first moved here about 10-11 years ago there was a road where they built the bridge walk-way over the Ark.river and you could drive for a few miles and park over to the side and park along there and fish the river.now its off-limits its a biking trail big money took away our bank fishing, cause were not important, and rich enough to have them to say lets help the bank fisherman out.The state that I was raised in the State had a law in place you had to have so many feet set-back from the waters edge so people could walk to the water and fish,Worked out great for both partys.
You have to have a boat to get on that water, and the boat ramp charges you to use it,I think its 5.00 Dollars....Dont give up fishing tho.
Every AGFC owned lake in Arkansas has a protective buffer strip between the waters edge and private property. This allows anglers to walk around the entire shoreline of these lakes and fish. The only catch is that you can not cross private property to get in the buffer strip. You have to access it from a public road or access area. Hope this helps.

Maybe worth contacting some of the property owners access. If you can get one to accept their neighbors might become more receptive to fishing in front of their property when they know you know one of their neighbors. We've done this with success in some areas around Orlando.
Well that sucks, I don't own a boat, I love to bank fish, there should always be an area for bank fishers, I have worn out the only other fishing spots I know, they have become boring with no bites, just wanted a change of scenery for a bit, if you know of any other spots around the White Hall, Pine Bluff area let me know please, I'm all ears for any suggestions.
Lake pine bluff has all kind of places ... also slack water harbour at regional park..
