okay guys I got a question

we've been looking at a mold on del-mart molds . It is a 20 cavity tube mold. They are precut in the mold do you think that 20 cavity mold is worth over 300 bucks. I do like the style of the skirt and just wanted somebody else's opinion. If anybody's been looking at it. Also, been looking at molds on bass tackle which you guys should be playing attention he is dropping prices. We are looking at two or three there also we plan on buying that 30 cavity twister tail and one other one:D in maybe one more after that:rolleyes:I hope you guys have a Merry Christmas and a happy new year. I just got tired of sitting here I needed something to create some excitement. So come on guys is hear it from you. Also would like to know where to buy colors for plastic large containers like per quart or pint. Would also like to buy glitter by the pound. Yes I do know the regular spots to buy it by the pound from but I would like to know if there's any other companies out there.

I would contact different mold manufacturers and ask them those same questions. They may even have a FAQ posted for you. Wish I could help more but that is out of my league. You could also google "How to....." on the web. Merry Christmas Bob.

I thank you ship . I will definitely asked them the same questions I think some of the mold makers must think awful highly other molds because of some of the prices scare me to death. Ha ha . I don't have anything else in life to do but spend money on molds. I guess I'm pretty fortunate and give the mold makers a bad time I do enjoy that.

I got a question for you Snake have you actually seen the mold from dels. I would like to see how the tails are in the mold. His larger tubes dont look like they are cut. I know one thing about the mold prices. They set the prices by how long it takes to make. I talked to Del awile ago and he said he needed to get .80cts a minute to run his machine. Kevin on the otherhand is blowing all the other guys out of the water, price per cavity is real good. Basically that is how I compare molds. And the other question I like MF plastic,colors and glitter may not be the least expensive but by his pricing structure he wants to sell you larger amounts. That is just me though. Hey and you missed dels two for one sale. Frank

no I have not seen the actual mold yeah, I've only seen the tube skirts but I have not seen the actual mold opened up. I called him the other day and asked him how hard it would to be to put a second color on them . I did not get a reply so I'm assuming he is very busy, but that is okay. I will research it. More later on. We are waiting for somebody to come up with something on those particular tube skirts. I think they look great. It's too bad I don't have more answers because I definitely would like to buy the mold but I'm not sure.

Snake, I checked on the del mold a while back. I chose not to buy the 20 cavity mold. He is asking way to much for it in my opinion. I compared it this way, jacobs has the 12 cavity for I think it was 120 something. I thought heck I could buy 2 of those and have 24 cavities for around 250 and I would only get 20 cavities in dels mold for over 300. Kevin is great with his molds and his pricing. I almost asked him about doing a big tube mold like that but he has been so busy. His molds and is prices are great. I am not saying other makers molds are not, just giving credit to Kevin for the good work he did for me.

it's not the cost in the mold. Believe me , or just wanting to see the product. I would truly love to see the mold in a picture opened in I will ask for samples today.

I wanted to see the mold too, I have asked and asked for information on a lot of his stuff, sometimes I get info and pics but most of the time I do not. If you get pics please share them

I deftly will share with you, no problem. I just asked for samples to day so it'd be a while before I hear anything. But we will definitely let you know.

I started to ask for samples but when I never got much of anything else I did not bother asking. He may be so busy he does not have much time for outside stuff. I do not know. Just keep us posted.

I sent him an e-mail today and he's going to send me some samples after the first of the year will definitely post them on here when I receive them.
