What are the best gloves you guys have found. Right now im using like snowmobile gloves and putting 1 hand warmer in each one. After taking off a few fish the gloves get wet and the cold sets in. Any ideas on a good warm waterproof glove?

I have a couple pairs of the neoprene gloves. They're made of the same thing as the waders are. I don't like them because I can't feel a thing while wearing the things, but they do keep the mitts dry. Mostly I carry three or four pairs of those brown jersey gloves. These are easy on, easy off and when one pair gets wet I put on a dry pair. If I am in a portable I don't wear gloves and if the outside temp is above 25 degrees I seldom wear gloves, but I do carry a towel for when the hands get wet.
Carry several pairs of jersey gloves with you, . Polartec liner gloves work well under the jerseys also
Good gloves are really hard to find. I also use alot of jersey glove and prefer the open cuff with the red lining. The main thing is to keep your hands dry. I seldom bait up or take a fish off with my gloves on. I'll use a towel or such to hold my fish. After removing your fish, dry your hands real good then put your warm dry gloves back on.
Let us not forget the handy dandy hand warmers, don`t use them all the time, just when the need arises; but they are GREAT when you do...TOASTY!

don't mean to change the subject but was thinking of some mittins like the chopper style. you know something warm that i can just pull off without having to fight them on and off just incase the hands get wet .
and i am going to use the idea of the towel this year also .
i have big hands so it's hard for me to find a pair of gloves that fit well . and as everyone knows when them brown jerseys get wet they shrink for some ungodly reason lol.

I can put a chemical hand warmer packet inside the jersey glove either on the back of the hand or the palm side. I've sewn a pocket inside the flip mitt part of the glove so that when it extra cold I can also put a warmer packet in the flip mitt part. The extra pocket I've sewn in the flip part will keep the warmer packet from falling out while the flip part is opened off of your finger tips.

If you just fish for panfish like I do, gills and crappies.In our area we use what a lot of guys call hot dog tongs.They are like to long fingers that grab the fish and stay on the side of a bucket real easy.When you get use to useing a set of these you will never be without them.Your fingers never touch a fish and stay dry all the time.That way they stay a lot warmer.A lot of times even in temps down to 0 degrees we don't worry about gloves,just slide your free hand into your pocket to stay warm.
