Thats a big condo!!!
Better find some deep water!
We put it in 30' of water right in the middle of a small run off channel.
How do you or do you keep it standing upright?
We use a 80 pound concrete base. They typically stay up right. He and I are working on different bases to be sure they never tip over. This particular one is leaning off the bottom. All the 10' attractors we have put out are standing strait up. We did this just to see if we could LOL! It was a lot of fun.
I need some that size where I fish,
that thing is awesome lookin
You could spray in a couple of inches of great stuff foam at each main trunk junction. That should be enough to keep it upright but still light enough for the 80 pound base to hold it solid.
Jason, you might want to consider using a cross of conduit at the bottom and using 4 20lb weights at the end of the cross. Would give it a wider foot print for stability if you used made the cross our of 2 10' sections. Cool idea and condo.
When we place big cedar trees in the water they are in a bucket of cement and we tie a gallon plastic jug to the very top. The jug pulls it upright.
I agree also with a wide base. the 5 gallon buckets of cement--cut some holes in the bottom and insert pvc pipe as a base. I do this with bamboo or small trees or brush like willow cuttings off of bigger trees.
The 19 footer looks great--gives me an idea.
I also used an idea posted on this site---I ordered sand bags and filled them with rocks and gravel tied to the bottom.
That should be called "the monsta"!!! LOL bet you can catch some fish off of that sucker!!!
We caught fish out of it the day after we sunk it!
I saw that crappie condo--that was huge and looked great.
Now that is a condo. That should create a nice crappiehood....
