I fished from 3:00 till dark and kept 13 really nice fish and two of them would push 15 inches. When I was leaving ran into Dan at the rail road bridge and he said he had only been fishing about forty five minutes and had four good fish. I was fishing a 1/16 oz white head with a pearl white Gulp minnow in the pads and man did they eat it. I will have pics tomorrow.

Just got in from cleaning a limit of good Crappie. What a beautiful day and the fish were bitin'. Danno , Gold creek was on today.
Looks like we need to hit up Gold Creek soon. Sounds like things are heating up in that area here the past few days. Thanks for the report.

I wish I was that good at fishing. Now russ the KING of lake conway could catch them on a bare yohoo pull top for the hook. I think he whispers to them and they just jump in the boat or it could be that he has made so many fish pay rent that his big war eagle smells like crappie and there drawn to it like a moth to a light. But russ gave me a lot of tips last time we saw him out on the water that I think are going to increase my fish catching ratio.Quote:

Yes Midnight I whisper to em, everytime I take my first bite of that fried fillet, i look over at my wife and in a low whispering voice I say "MMM That's good crappie"
