Probably gonna be tougher tommorrow....supposed to be 29 degrees in the morning.
Yea G, just finished loading my max-cold stuff in the truck, got the boat hooked up filled up fuel tank, & ready to go in the morn.

This cool spell has got my arthur worked up.....had to take some meds for it today for the first time in quite awhile. Thats the thing I hate about winter.

whats you guys take on this cold weather over the nights gonna do to the crappie ? my first fall/winter attempt and really dont know where to look for them with the weather getting cold over night like this. maj sorry for hijackin your thread

I'd have never thought they'd have caught them in that shallow of water but they did. We talked to them while we were waiting to weigh in and that's where they caught them. They said they only had 1 or 2 fish in the boat til the last hour though
When I was there the 31st., the water remp was 68. I guess they thought they are supposed to be spawning.
