Hot Fish
Well I got to heat some grease today. The wind blew to hard today to work. We have a great boss and with a few phone calls I was cooking for 15-20 people.Everybody enjoyed. Us crappie fisher sometimes take it for granted being able to eat crappie whenever we want. I love the look on peoples face when they get to eat the" other white meat".

Billy E where do you work?
-
I think he works for Kenneth at Superior;)
-
I thought the front end of those trucks looked like a Superior Lawn Service.
-
Need to let me hook you up with the Cajun Fryer, by far the very best fish cooker I've ever used....
-
Ive got one but the fishfry went from 5-10 to 20 people. At the end I wish i would have used it And yes I work for Superior Lawn Service. On a post talking about freezing fish yesterday everybody freezes their fish in water. I dont put water in mybag and you can thaw them out quick. I put them up in QT freezer bags that weigh 1 pound. I guess I eat them so fast I never have freezer burn.

Sounds like a good time. Most folks love a free fish fry. Especially one where it's Crappie fillets on the menu. :D:cool:

Man that looks good. The wife is complaining about her freezer room. If I ever get the time, we might need to do a meet and greet fish fry.

Mailman must have gotten lost with my invitation...

that is what you call a good day at work!!!!!:)

Man I would Like to Have a Crappie.comer fish fry and low cost tourney sometime. Instead of a money pay out, i was thinking maybe a quality jigging rod and reel to the top three teams. That would be a fun event.
-
That would be a great ideal. Entry fee would be 5-10 $ a person. 2 qts of fish (crappie). and a zip lock bag with your 5 favorite jigs. We will swap that around that way everybody gets something. Heck I'll put in $100.00 to get the ball rolling.
-
Ya Tourney times 7Am-12Am, be in line by 1:00PM, eat meet and greet, bring a pack of jigs for a swap and present a new rod n reel to the top three boats, we can have it at Dano's on Gold Creek. Sat before deer gun season. I was thinking a Shakespere Dimension/or president spinning reel/and B-M Buck original 11 foot jiggin pole for prizes. each out fit runs about 80-100 dollars apiece depending on weather u get the Shakespere or President both are fine reels. Heck I'll throw in 100 dollars. I got plenty of crappie to contribute for the fry;) 10 dollars sound's like a good entry fee. Heck the meal every body will get will be worth that I promise. Ok Who's cooking? LOL
-
What Saturday is that, I don't hunt?
-
That would be Saturday, November 6th. Gun season opens the next Saturday, the 13th. I think this is a great idea! I'm in full deer hunting mode right now, but I could shift gears for a day! I like the low entry fee and prizes CP mentioned.
-
That might be to early for everybody to commit but I'll wait for the feedback. I'am looking foward to meeting everybody.
-
I'd love to make it, but won't be able to unfortunately - will be out of town. Hey Billy, tell your boss man and the SLS veterans I said hey! I worked there through college and a few years after I graduated. Spent many a windy and rainy day pitching washers right where ya'll were cooking those fish!
