Wanted to know if a big 50 or 60 amp fuse (plastic type) would work on a inline set-up vs a 50 or 60 amp breaker for my Mk Edge TM. Just was trying to save a few bucks inline holder 9.50 + 3.50 for fuse vs 55.00 for breaker.

You can get a circuit breaker from a auto parts store for LESS THAN 10.00 bucks try that. That is what i have it work fine. If it trips wait till it cools off and it will auto reset.Attachment 47949

This type fuse (terminals) corrodes easily. Grease it good.
It's a 45 lb. thrust edge.
You need a 50 amp fuse or breaker. Either will work.
Thanks Bill, I thought that would work.
That's what I'm using on my MK 55# motor. I got the fuse holder at NAPA and it has a rubber waterproof cap to cover the fuse.
just remember to carry an extra fuse. A circuit breaker will reset, but a fuse has to be replaced.
Make sure you pick up a tube of dielectric grease to keep it from corroding.
