Going to add a couple cables down low so that my girls can't fall off so easily. Thinking I'm going to drill them through the posts and snug them down with a turnbuckle at the ends. Also going to build a bench (blue).
Then I'm done!
Wow, looks great and it's kinda sorta level, too!!! :)
Looking good ES.
Looks good bud. Now get out there at the end of it with a shovel and dig you a deep hole. I recon 15 feet out but about 20 feet wide and 6 or 8 feet deep ought to do it. Toss in some Christmas trees and you'll have you a crappie hole right there
Did the wife say it would be ok to add the cables and the couch??? Jus' sayin' ;)
Tell the truth, you lopped that back right post off level with a chainsaw. Admit it!
Wannabe...
Wait. No. Wasn't a chainsaw
Looks good ES. Go by Lowes and ask for some broken pipe and make you some attractors. Use a 4" pvc and drill 1 " holes and make it look like a Christmas tree. Put concrete in the bottom and it will stand up if you don't have a current. As soon as the plankton sets in, the fish will arrive.
Good job ES
Did ya'll notice that he didn't leave a side open to get in and out of the boat? Deep down, he knows his wife ain't nevah evah gonna let him get one.

I've been staring at a couple of big ole oak limbs that I want to drag out in the water. Guess I need to do it before the levee is repaired. The water is down at least a foot right now. 13 acre lake with some huge bass and cats, but suprisingly I've never left my yard and really fished it.
G3 - Thanks for the comment. It's good, but don't know if it's Godly
Sounds like she may have shock collar on him (don't leave the yard).
crappiholic I bet its one of those invisible fences. Ive heard they work wonders on dogs. so tell us ES what happens when you cross that invisible fence? cause we all know you had to test and see where your boundary lines were!!!
Good job ES !!!! Don't pay any attention to what some of these guys are saying.
I bet you can catch a bunch from that new pier with all those new crankbaits. LOL Good job.
