Tony, who from georgia is fishing the tournament?
Let's see CB & Pearl , Ron Wallace & Tim Werkin , Danny & Beth Williamson , Randy Temples that I know of. Think Shinerunner said they had 230 boats.
Thanks. Is randy fishing by himself?
Rod & Jeanne Fry are there too. Maybe some others that I have not heard about. Randy is solo. Some really good GA teams in the mix up there. Have heard the fishing is a whole lot different than around the South. I am sure these teams will adapt and find some slabs to make a run for the top. I wish them all the best luck and hoping for a safe return trip home.
Yep he is ,last minute emergency for partner.
Tim Werkin and Ron Walace, two Ga. Slab Masters members and Crappie.Com members came in 26th place out of 220 teams at the Crappie Masters Classic on Lake Truman in Missouri under tough bite conditions and never fished the Lake before last week! I'd say that's one heck of a feat from 2 great fishermen. Congrats fellas!!!!
Great Going to these two Ga Fishermen. Anytime you beat 194 Teams that qualified for this event is GREAT. From what I hear, the 1/32 Pony's with the lightwirehooks worked in the stump infested lake. Congratulations
lightwirehooker
Way to go guys! Congrats !!!
Not bad...not bad at all!;):)
It was tough the first couple of days we tied alot of jig that were not lite wire the last day tim used only 1/16 and 1/32 ponys and never broke one off i was using some jiffy jigs that worked early in the week but i soon got tired of tying jigs on and switched. We also caught a 10 lb cat and several 3-6 lb hybrids. and never bent a hook. Thanks curtis the hooks made a big difference. You just thought Talquin was stumppppie. Thanks to Rod,John and jennie for all the help. If you have never fished a classic you need to try to go what a blast!!!!!!
Congratulations. Great job.
Great job guys. Way to get it done.
