Okay, I need a 2002 - 2003 Yamaha T8 for my new ride. I don't need a regular ole 4-stroke that's not designed to be a troller or any other brand.

Whats the best quality/price you can find on 2, either 12 or 14 foot lightweight rods for spider rigging? I got 5, 10 foot B & M bucks lightweight and a 12 foot rear seat bucks, right now. I been using some elcheapo rods for my other 2
DD, I been watching all over for a deal on some decent rods for a while and I really don't see 'em that often. You do know Bigger's got a post on swap sell for some 14' BGJPs right? They're light action, but good rods. Past that, you're prolly better off just ordering exactly what you want from Grizzly or Monk's and getting the multi-pole discount. Grizzly has Pinnacle Limit rods for 12.50 each if ya buy 4, but I don't know anything about their action or whether they'd do for spider rigging or not. Course, at that price, I've been tempted to find out myself.

BTW, while shopping for Slimey, I ran accross this if somebody needs a HDS 5 with Insight. It's a pretty decent deal and ya get the receipt for warranty purposes. Think Cabelas has them on sale for $750 and lowrance has a rebate of $50 so you're saving about $150 off the sale price or $250 off regular price.

Yeh, I talked to him about it and he wants to sell them all to the same person. No prob there, his choice. I did a little looking the other day, went to Monks and a few other places, nothing really stood out for a great deal. I'll track something down in the next month or so cause I won't have alot of free time this month to fish. Got the State game and a Birthday party this Saturday. Next weekend is my Taekwondo schools big BBQ and Think there's another Bday party I have to go to later on in the month. Seems all my friends have BDays about this time of year

That's the bad part about crappie fishing out of a bass boat. Seems like every time you turn around something is getting kicked or thrown out of the boat. Personally I have had fish, poles, Ego nets, tackle box trays and fishing partners go overboard at one time or another.:DQuote:
