Sat done ordered a Terrova and should be here this afternoon. Will slap that bad boy on!
Sat going HI TECH, Can't believe it. I bet it was tough on him when he was younger pulling cranks using a Boat Paddle. LOL
THATS AWESOME TORCH!!!! Hey Sat, I've been wanting a Terrova for a long time now. Could you send one my way???? PLEASE???????
He is excited!
It will change the way you guys normally fish that's for sure. SatDoc will be able to help and move about the boat while it's under complete control. Congrats.
Way to go sat....I got that on my list right under the new FF....it will be awhile though......in time, in time.
Just got the Terrova coming right now but will be addin on the either Copilot or Ipilot next month. Still got to figure out which one I want?
I am open for suggestions and reasons why one is better than the other!
Ummm...Sat, you weren't listening......Order either the Co-Pilot or the IPilot NOW!!!!!! You ain't gonna like that foot control at all. And you sure don't want to swap this close to the tournament and not have the remote to go with it.
Seriously, without the remote, the Terrova is just an annoying way to get from a to b.

Explain cause I will be the operator?
You gonna float the loan? I only use the money I make from satellite sales to fund my fishin and it looks like next month before that happens.
Here's the deal. The peddle sits flat to the floor, so when you're in your seat, there is no angle when the motor is turned making it tought to have leverage to actuate the direction. You'll end up sitting on the edge of your seat to get some weight on your foot.
Next, you get no feedback on the peddle, it's just a pressure switch on the toe and on the heal. Either on or off, so you have to look down at the motor, steer towards the appropriate direction, then cut it off.
There are buttons on the front for steer left/right and a momentary switch. When I used it, I actually used those...so steer direction, momentary on, then steer some more.
What I'm not sure of is if you get the autopilot function without buying the co-pilot remote because there is an autopilot button on the foot pedal. If you will have that, then you can probably make do.
It may not be as bad as I'm thinking if you're planning on spider rigging with it for the Big Mama. Assuming you have no auto-pilot, you could turn on the constant run, turn it way down, then just steer left/right for course corrections. It's gonnabe a mess when you run over something and get 2 or 3 poles tangled up though.

Get Torch to chip in for it. He's rich on account of not having to spend money on hair care products.

That boys broker than I am right now. LOL
Amen Brother! I'm so broke I can't pay attention!
Here's the deal.
The wrist control with the co-pilot is very very nice. After a while of using it you will be able to control your boat fom any position by feel, the controls are always exactly where you expect them to be (on your wrist). You can also get a second co-pilot so each one of you could control the boat if need be from your wrist. The remote for the i-pilot is to big to put on your wrist comfortably. Most use a lanyard around their neck which means it will be flopping around every time you move an you will have to look to make sure it's facing up before you can push buttons. I would live to have the features associated with the i-pilot but loosing the wrist control is to much to ask.
WB is correct in that without the co-pilot or the i-pilot the foot control can get annoying.
True about the size of the Ipilot remote. What I do is fix the lanyard to my belt and hold it in my left hand or balance it on my leg. That way, when I need my hands like if I ever caught a fish, I can ignore the remote and let it drop and let the lanyard catch it. Also, that way it's away from my chest so it doesn't get tangled when rebaiting or untangling rods. Still, it's hard to ignore when it drops off my leg. Makes me flinch every time.

OK guys copilot it is . Wont have it for this weekend but I will for the following.
Way to go buddy....I think your gonna like it. I got to try one out once and I was impressed.
I-pilot is the way...Like Wb say's, hook the remote to a belt loop and it stays right there in your lap. It is about the same size as a television remote, which feels very natural in my hand. I never have to look at or for the remote, feels like I'm sittin in my chair at home surfin ballgames on the tube!
I can't imagine how annoying it would be to use something on my wrist or hanging from my neck.
If you wan't to try mine out, you can play with it Friday.
Way to go sat. Think you will enjoy it.
